There is a $400 trade in voucher that you are missing. Either get it from chat, or via the Samsung Members app. It starts with 7LS.

This should bring it to under $1600

    • Thats interesting. Didn’t see that when checked online

      • +1

It's right at the bottom under benefits in the members app. No need to stay in the chat queue and beg for one.

        • Ohk. Will check that 👍🏻 Thanks

    • Wow, I didn’t know that. They usually roll out the codes via email, but not this time. Let me get a code and then update.

      • +1

Yup, tested before commenting, stacks well.

        • I got the voucher but did you test it on Education store? Because terms and conditions specifically mention it excludes Education store:

          1. Purchase must be made through the Samsung Online Store (https://shop.samsung.com/au/) and excludes the Samsung Education Store, Samsung Business,Samsung Enhanced Partnership Portals and Samsung Government.
          • @OZBsince2018: Yes, works on education store

            • @bghunter: Great thanks. Does it stack with the $100 trade in bonus available online?

          • @OZBsince2018: I tested it on EPP Store which works just like edu. Seems like OP has tested it on edu.

            • @Oh Daddy: Great thanks. Does it stack with the $100 trade in bonus available online?

            • @Oh Daddy: Yes, it works on EDU. I just updated

          • @OZBsince2018: Westpac portal has same discount as edu, but can't use the $400 7LS Code there

    • Wow thanks for the members app benefit tip, using that I got my 7LS code for another $400 off! Bring my total to $1,143.99 with trade-in on my s23 ultra

      Breakdown -
using education portal + $20 voucher boosted to $100 + $200 pre order voucher + Trade in + $400 members app 7ls code

  • i could not find the code can you tell me where is it exactly

    • +2

Go to Samsung members App benefit section, scroll down to Fold 7 Flip 7 offer right at the bottom click that and it will take you to the cose

      • cant find anywhere using iphone there is no benefit option in app

        • +2

Members App is only available on Samsung phones

    • Samsung Members - Benefits - Galaxy Z Fold7 | Z Flip7 or Chat with Expert

    • Please and thank you

    • I don’t have the Benefits option on iOS. You could be the same boat as Android and iOS have different Sammy app layout

      • I don’t think the Members app is available on iOS. Samsung Shop is different from Samsung Members

        • Just received an email for the 7LC code. Didn’t chat with Sammy ytd

  • I guess JB Hifi deal is still comparable to this deal for those looking to purchase Fold 7 512GB model as you can get it for $1764 compared to sub $1,611 for 256GB:

    RRP 2,899
    Less Voucher $1800
    Less $200 pre-registration code
    Plus $99 1st month fee
    Plus $767 cancellation fee

    • +7

You save a credit check with Samsung and not much mucking around with signing up.

      • +1

Agree. Plus some free accessories too with that Eco-Voucher

    • I’ve dealt with Telstra before, and it was a nightmare. Make sure your information is up to date with them.

    • Yeah not bad, but a lot of folks don't want to stuff around with all the Telstra/JB processes involved from sign up to cancellation.

    • -99 if you can get the refund for 1st month fee - YMMV
      -GST if you are eligible

    • I'm interested in this!
What happens with the $1100 gift card if you port in on $99?
How do you know the cancellation fee?

      • +1

$1100 GC is applied towards the phone price.
Cancellation fee of $800 will be mentioned in the CIS that you will be emailed or printed ones given to you when you sign up.

  • does this work with the 512gb version free pre.order size upgrade?

    • Yes it works

    • +1

Any idea if the free storage upgrade applies automatically? I don't see it mentioned anywhere on the website (EPP)

Edit: Free storage upgrade is on main store but isn't available on EPP store currently.

    • Where is this free storage upgrade from?

  • +1

Seems like you can't trade in ultra 25?

    • No. Its not in the list.

    • +1

      Yeh wth no s25s

    • sell it - worth at least 1250 on market

  • +3

512GB $1669.20 after additional 400 trade in bonus, lol have to say goodbye Samsung. The price should go back to around $1200, they are charging us their costs from S25 Edge's failure

    • Agree. Actually that might be the actual retail price and Samsung and all retailers just offering these deals on inflated RRP and making these deals look to good to miss out 😅

      • Plenty of numpties subsidise the minority of OzB license holders.

Its very hard for most people to stack 5-6 codes without sites like this, and not every country has an active equivalent.

Seen a few too many blokes talk about how much they got swindled for X.

  • As far as I know, cashback doesn’t work if any coupons used for the purchase

  • +1

Just got the Flip 7 512GB 1 year Samsung care+ and Galaxy watch ultra (2025) for $1897 after a $60 tradein. Pretty happy with that.

    • -1

Flip 7 is Exynos processor this year. Not sure if you knew this. Plus you could buy Flip 7 for a net $615 from JB Hifi deal. Check one of the comments for detail:

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/914717

        • Max voucher repayment fee is $800. Many of us have got this done. Ended up paying around $766 to cancel.

          • @hawkeye93: Unless they have closed the loophole as per op listing actual contract terms

            • +1

@dtoovey: it is not a loop hole - its a term of service. They discount the device as per the benifit they get from Telstra.

      • +1

Owe you an apology. I have gone into JBHifi and gone through all the terms and you are indeed correct.
I purchased a flip there. Paid $99 for first month and $149 for Phone. Will cancel Sim before the month is up and pay 800/24*23

        • +1

          All good mate 👍🏻

    • Hi there, would you be able to share how you got them for $1897

  • Does anyone know how quick they send out the $20 evouchers at the moment?

    • +1

      It took about an hour

    • Can you still buy it? I thought you could only buy it until 12am midnight today.

      • +1

You may not realise it, but you are correct. You can purchase it until midnight tonight :)

        • I will skip buying Fold 7 as its not worth the price i.e. not much changed from Fold 6 and they removed S Pen support too. So kind of downgrade I would say. I have $20 voucher you can buy off me if you want.

          • +4

@OZBsince2018: As someone who got a f5 and F6, with a friend who had a F4 / 5, the devices are all the same in too many aspects.

4400mah, cameras stayed mid range for those 3 yrs, screen size effectively was too.

Just thickness (weight), SoC, and being newly unboxed (warranty).

The hinge is also designed to cause problems.

Great product to have but phones had peaked a while back and its just iterative updates, impactful after 3-5 yrs stack up - understand with slabs, less so with folds.

Bought them as the preorder deals were too good, and

          • @OZBsince2018: bro I really need that voucher

  • +6

It's sucks no more care+ discount
    2 yrs care+ costs $400
won't use such fragile baby without care+

      • +4

I kept my Nokia 8310 for almost 9 years (2002-2011).

  • -1

Guess threre will be Live code like ZfoldLIVE tomorrow. Wait for one more code to stack

  • It says:
Sorry, you have exceeded the purchase limit, please reduce the quantity. I added a 1TB FOLD 7, Galaxy Z Fold7 Silicone Case
    , 1 BUD PRO

    • It means that you have used all the quotas available for your edu/epp account, probably the phone. Quotas for phone is 3 items per account per year.

      • -4

Yes, I noticed that…Is there any idea to get around with it?

  • Will it work with student portal or goverment portal will do same?

    • Worked for me on the education site. If you reach out to chat, they can also issue the trade in bonus code and they will ask first if it will be purchased on the normal or education site.

      • if I want to trade in s24ultra 256gb what will be the process? And I have the access to goverment portal only. Noob question, thanks.

      • Do we say we will purchase on edu site?

  • Thanks OP! Brings down the flip and pro buds to roughly $900.

    • -1

Flip is Exynos version just in case you don't know..

    • Is the 7L member voucher also $400 for Flip 7?

  • -2

Not sure why Samsung removed S Pen support from Fold 7. Kind of a downgrade TBH.

    • +2

They removed the digitizer for the sake of thinness thus sacrificing s pen support.

      • I am sure everyone could like with a couple of mm more thickness to have S Pen support and bigger battery.

        • +6

I bought the S Pen a few years ago with my Fold 4. I played with it a bit and never used it again. I'm guessing there are more people out there who don't use it than those who do.

          • +6

            @eug: Yep exactly same.
Used it once, and never again.

I'd say 90% of people would value a thinner phone over an S Pen they don't use.

            • @Deviner: 90% people will prefer a bigger battery even if the phone is 1-2mm thicker.

        • yeah but the youtubers will be comparigng the thicker fold with the chinese foldables and say how far behind samsung is.

  • Can someone tell me when I'll need to send the trade-in device to get the trade-in fee refunded as soon as possible? Is it only after I've received the new Z Fold 7, or can I send it before that for a quick refund?

    • Once you receive the Fold 7, you'll get an email confirming that it's time to send back your old device. The email will include an Australia Post return label. Simply take the label to the AusPost counter—they'll handle the packaging for you. I believe you have 2 weeks to send the device in after receiving the device.

  • Does not sending in the trade-in device and not getting penalised still work?

    • You will still get the bonus discount, just not the trade in plus $60

      • +2

If you choose a device with trade value of $5 or $1, the device non-return fee will be $30. So better do that.

        • +1

          Correct

        • I have selected a device worth $5. I got a bonus trade-in value of $100 and an additional $400 on fold 7 using the 7LS code.

if I don't return the device, will I just have to pay $30 or the bonus amounts of $100 + $400 too ?

  • How does the unlink and link edu acciunt works if my edu and account is the same email?

  • +3

The Z Fold 7 won't sell many units. Lame deal by Samsung. $1,600 using every code. Can't trade any S25 series devices. No bonus storage upgrade. No s-pen support. Same small battery. Easiest hard pass for a phone I've ever done.

Nobody bought the S25 Edge and now it selling for $990 one month after its release.

    • -1

Totally agree, especially with the S25 Edge. It feels like they only made it because of rumors about a slim iPhone. Who wants a slim phone if it means half the battery life? I’d much rather have a thicker phone with double battery life.

    • -1

Don't forget no UDC…and that camera bump is crazy lol

  • -1

Massive fail at this price point.

  • Samsung is very confident in their new phones.
