Hotline Miami is definitely worth paying above the average.

  • +2

Bought awesomenauts for $10 on release.
Still haven't played it yet, but it came with these awesome hats.
    No regrets.

  • I paid by Bitcoins - pretty cool.

Hotline Miami is awesome, keen to play Thomas Was Alone, and try the others.

    • how much was that in aussie dollars?

      • +1

        $5.70 = ~0.044 BC

        • +1

I'm guessing you mine bitcoins or been Trading?

        • -2

How else do you get Bit coins? and does it matter - its just nice to see options.

  • Does anyone know if the code for the special "chicken skin" is separate to the main awesomenauts steam code? I already have awesomenauts so I will prob just gift it to a friend… but it would be cool to have something "exclusive".

    • +6

      All keys separate

      • Oh that's awesome, means I can gift Hotline Miami to someone.

    • You can gift games from the bundle now? I haven't got one in a while but didn't they all come in one Steam key?

      • This one has individual keys for each game and the costume

      • +1

They've had individual keys for each game for about the past 5 bundles.

        • +1

I just checked, 7 had seperate keys but 6 didn't.

        • Since Humble Indie Bundle 6 we've had:
          Humble Bundle for Android 4
          Humble THQ Bundle
          Humble Indie Bundle 7
          Humble Bundle with Android 5
          Humble Indie Bundle 8

Might have been another in there somewhere, but I'm at least certain of these. And they all had separate keys.

I have Thomas was Alone on PS Vita, absolutely amazing game, worth it just for that imho.

  • Always wanted to get Awesomenauts, so this a great bundle for me. Even paid above average, even though I already had Hotline Miami (highly recommended).

  • nice bundle!

these were all on my wishlist (in particular the first three i was definitely going to buy when they came on sale!):
    Capsized
    Thomas was Alone
    Hotline Miami
    Dear Esther
    Awesomenauts

  • Gets stuck on "Processing" for me :(

    • You'll get an email when it goes through. You can just wait for that if it's taking a while (took a few mins for my Paypal payment to go through this morning).

      • I mean, it gets stuck on processing when I click any of the payment icons, it won't even show me a payment screen.. Lodged a support ticket with them anyway, happened on the last bundle too, must be some javascript/server weirdness. Maybe revenge for not giving them enough of a humble tip on previous bundles :p

  • Where's the android humble bundle?

  • Purchased! Looks fantastic!

  • +3

Most definitely worth paying above the average.

I know this is OZB but go ahead and pay $20+, you'll feel good having contributed to the developers and to a charity.

  • Hotline Miami is $9.99 by itself on Steam and I was happy picking it up at half that price in a previous sale on Steam. When you can pick up Hotline Miami AND 6 more games for around $6 its a damn good price. Don't hesitate.

  • +1

Bought 2. One for myself (paid $10) and one for the missus (paid $6). Get brownie points with my lady, got a whole bunch of awesome games and am helping out the indie devs. All in all a great day! :)

  • I enjoyed Little Inferno on the iPad - a unique 'game'. Got about 3 hours play out if it - but you could get double that if you are a perfectionist and want to get all the combos. However the fun bit was playing with the items flicking then around with your finger and that might be lost on a PC.

Like most of these deals there are several pointless little indie wankfests bundled with one good game.

In this case the good game is Hotline Miami and it's easily worth $6 by itself.

    • +1

Humble Bundle almost always has multiple good games in the bundle, and this one is no exception. Awesomenauts and Thomas was Alone are both great games and are also worth $6 on their own.

    • +3

Just because you only heard of hotline miami, doesn't mean rest of the bundle are shit.
      Spare your ignorance elsewhere please.

  • I would kill for Hotline Miami to be on my Android phone or iPad. I'd KILL!

    • It just wouldn't work as well as PC though. How would you control it fast enough to keep up with the game?!
