      Same here. It's actually the only item I wanted, but shipping was about $8, so I grabbed two of the 8-packs of pens for $2 each to get the free shipping… So in a way, they're paying me $4 to get rid of 16 pens ;)

        haha grabbed the pens as well and the parker pencil.
        the packaging looks more than decent enough for a gift so it wasnt a bad choice

    Vivitar for the win. Even if the monopod doesn't satisfy, that case it comes in may be good for something else. Worth it.

    Bought the monopod since I just got a new camera. Got the Mystery item but doubt it is worth it and the drying mat for university cleaning glassware after lab work.

    I try to avoid COTD but thanks OP.

      Sunscreen expires in July. Make sure you can use it all by then (I know you can go past the expiry date).

    Hi. Can anyone help me?
    I put order for 4 items (shammy, macaron kit, pens and octonauts blanket).
    And when i go to shopping cart, it still shows "Shipping WA $15".
    I pressed "Secure Checkout", and the shipping is still not free yet.
    Does the free shipping offer only for eastern states? WA not included?
    I am confused. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you

          Had same problem. Glitch with iPhone app apparently.
          I placed my order on the website and it applied a discount to make shipping zero.
          When I emailed them they apologised and said that they were aware if a glitch in their app that did not apply discounts and that an update was coming.
          Lucky I spotted it and went to the website to place my order.

      each packet contains 2 glue sticks. Supposed to get 6 packets for a total of 12 glue sticks.
      Received only 2 packets for a total of 4 glue sticks.

    monopod ftw, received it yesterday.
    550g and the build quality is not bad at all for a $7 monopod!

    now I wait for an ozbargain on the 400mm 2.8 so I can mount it on the monopod and shoot sports :)

      I would have preferred some rubber on top of the monopod to be honest, as it mates to the bottom surface of your camera when the tripod screw is screwed in. It would be better to protect the bottom surface of the camera better. I found that a little cheap since even the most basic tripods have some sort or grippier rubber or grippy plastic or some sort of cork surface. The flat plastic was a little…cheap.

      Construction otherwise is pretty consistent with what you pay. I naively thought the bag would have some padding but it doesn't.
