  • And two seconds ago I was just reading through this… http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/105258

    • This one has stock. :P

  • Hmm…

Participating stores for the offer are the DERNI Group of stores (Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne), JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Dick Smith, Officeworks, BigW, Myer, Bing Lee and David Jones.

Soooo if we price beat at OW, it would be $35.56 after cashback? :X If we're even better, and pricebeat Umart or something, it would be $16.56?

    • I did get a price match from umart so yea its cheap:P

  • went to JB, harvey and OW, none stocked this item…is it fairly new?

    • I purchased one @ $79 from Officework, Croydon, SA last weekend
Also seen them at Harvey Norman, Woodville, SA, @ full retail price $99

  • This is a really, really nice keyboard for any tablet. Very sturdy and the case which doubles as a stand is very convenient. I R only seen them as cheap as $79 without the cashback in the past.

  • Just price matched Umart which sells for $49, so I paid $46.55, after cashback thats $16.56. Nice. Thanks OP.

    • Damn I wish I live near UMart.

      • You can order from Officeworks over the phone and have it delivered to you as Umart offers delivery so OW price matches that including delivery.

Umart is about $10 delivery, so it would be approx $59, so OW would deliver it for $56.05 ($26.06 after cashback), still much cheaper than DS and delivered to your door, so yeah.

        • Can I walk in store (OW website says there is stock & UMart Sydney has stock) and get it price matched that way? Or do you have to be within some KM radius or something?

          edit: nvm it says Preorder

    • It's 30% off, not $30 off :P

      • It's literally $29.99, which is 30% of the RRP $99.95. Jamestownfx didn't make even a cent error.

  • just bought one. now i have to go back to return and price match against umart

    • Umart is showing preorder as the stock status, will that be considered as in or out of stock?

      • Probably will be case by case, but I managed to get it price matched with preorder as the status.

dont worry about it at all.

just click those wording"pre-order" thing, a window will pop out, telling you that they have stock in milton and if you place order they can transfer the stock to the store you select.

the guy in the officeworks challenged me with the pre-order status, i pointed it out and explained to him. he then rang umart (in my case, the store in west ryde), they confirmed what i told him was correct.

i got it without any issue :D

        • Thanks. Anyway, I don't even know if they have stock in my local OW, showing limited stock online.

        • you can ring them 13number. they can do price match on the phone too.

  • CPL in melb are showing stock @ $52 if OW need brick and mortar store for PM

Umart Sydney has stock again, Harvey Norman Price matched to $49 when they saw website listing, OW will beat by 5% aswell(umart didn't have stock when I tried to haggle OW). JB hifi wont go lower than $55, DSE cost price is apparently $70.

$20 from HN's $99 instore price. Will be ~$2 cheaper from OW

    • My OW won't beat the $49, the guy insisted the retail price in store would be $59 and online price $49 has to add $11 delivery fee before matching. Paid $56 in the end but really want to get it down to $46. $10 difference almost doubles the price after cash back.

On Umart's website you can show them the purchase process, add it to the cart, and then there is the option to 'pick up' which means you can pick it up in store for $49. Have them call Umart to confirm if necessary, Officeworks rang Umart when I price matched and they confirmed it was $49 pick up.

        • I argued that way, but the guy said the policy is if online price, then add delivery, otherwise use the store price. I said I can make purchase online and pickup for $49, but he still want to stick with the policy. I also asked him to call umart Sydney store to confirm the price, and the other end said it's $59 in store.

Will try harvey norman tomorrow and see if they can do it for $49 as someone said above, if they can match I will grab one and get refund from OW. A bit too much hassle for $7 difference, plus my local HN don't have paypass, but just remember I have $400 HN store credit sitting there for nothing, so it's good to spend some.

        • Oh, and I also showed him this OZB page, and your post that got it for $46. However you only said matched and paid $46, not mentioned OW matched and beat, although it's very clear to me from the context. He nicely caught the chance and said you only said matched, nothing about Officeworks, so he can't give me the same deal as it could be any other stores. WTF~~

The guy at my HN store crossed out the 99 tag and put in $49 with a code 6208 next to it… maybe mention the code if they don't budge, might be store specific or a code for authorised price match. Worth a try

          receipt:

        • My guess is that's his employee number or something similar to let the cashier know it's authorised by him. Will give it a try at my local HN tomorrow, if no luck, $23.5 (56-30-56*5% ING)isn't a bad price after all, though the best atm would be $13.6 if OW beat the $49.

        • lol, my bad, yes I got it price matched at OFFICEWORKS haha. Officeworks were even willing to match the $49 price over the phone and charge me $5.95 for delivery for it (ie using the 1300 Officeworks number), but I was close enough to a store with stock so in the end I just rang that store direct, ordered it over the phone and paid for it directly from that store, then went and picked it up…

I'm very happy with the purchase.

      • same here and a bit of pain involved when I saw the postage quote to WA - $17, ouch! None the less, $66-30 is a pretty good deal for this keyboard. Was so close to not having the postage included also, but the tech guy came and took over from the young lady who looked it initially - doh!

        • I like young lady sales persons, as they normally don't care too much about the details.

  • Yeh, if you can price match with Umart, great. I actually had a person in OW who was cluey. He noticed that Umart have a RTB warranty and couldn't honor the price match with the Umart product as it was a grey import. Only 2 left at Umart Sydney tho.

  • Damn is it over now?

    DSE have it at 99$

Finally got around to heading to Office Works, got it price matched against UMart Sydney pickup ($49.00).

Hurstville OW had about three left on the shelf.

  • Does anyone know if it is still in stock? I went to ds in camberwell yesterday and they had quite a few when I went in to buy the speakers from Creative. However I didn't grab this at the time as I didn't realise there was cashback. It is now showing 99 dollars and out of stock? Does anyone know.
