Yes, of course we do know. We are doing some special for this long weekend!

      • Can I order for pickup with payment on pickup and still get these prices?

    • They're celebrating "the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II Holiday" … i.e. they're celebrating the anniversary of the holiday itself. So they're correct. :)

      • Guess you didn't see the original description then ;)

  • Dat SSD. Bought the 250 GB Samsung one the other day. :P

    • Qnap definitely packs more features and is more powerful. Linkstation only works as a NAS, not much to do. Depending on what your needs are.

      • Thanks netbies…

  • Anyone have any opinion on the Noontec N5 NAS? I'm currently using an old laptop as the home computer/linux server and only really use it for Samba share, bittorrent and printer share. Is it worth getting something like this?

    • From http://www.cybergamer.com.au/forums/thread/334169/Noontec-Gi…

"…GigaLink N5 has a built-in Bittorrent client. It has all the main features available to most of the popular torrent clients currently available, except for a scheduler, so you will need to be aware of your bandwidth use if you are on a time-of-day ISP plan."

This is a deal breaker for me. I'd probably spend 3 weeks of the month shaped.

  • If your getting a NAS might as well pay a bit more and get something future ready.. just 1 bay wont be enough.. look at other companies too they also have a bittorrent component..

  • I'm surprised there's not more interest in the SSD it's not the old Sandisk it's the new faster Sandisk Ultra PLUS

    • Waiting for a deal on 500+ GB model
