    Hi Steptoe,

    Setup is flat $30 at the showroom, for simple(10 minute) or harder installs(45 minutes )

    Most Canon CISS price from $145-$175 + $30 to install (taking about 45 minutes for most person)
    Epson CISS range from $120-$140 + $30 to install ($120 unit take about 45 minutes to install, $140 takes about 15-20 minutes)
    Brothers CISS are dead simple to install, however some still struggle or not too tech savvy.

    This help to eliminate the worry and save you 1 hours of reading and understanding before hand.

    I have have cost from other places, I figured they'd charge by the hour? or something like $50 for their computer tech to install.

    What would it cost for black only for a Canon MP220? Could I set it up at home myself?

      Hi Jackson,

      The CISS for the Canon mp220 is $115, this printer is not supported at the Marketes, you need working cartridges for this model, also it is very time consuming unit to work on uppways of an hour, this is a completely DIY unit.

      I don't see why you can't do it at home, but keep in mind you will require a lot of patient, it's is not for the faint hearted.

        These must be hard to install ones. It only took 1 minute to install one on my Canon printer. Just stick the cartridges then peel the sticker off of the metal guide and stick it on top of the printer. Not hard and definitely not work spending $30 for.

          Agreed zealmax,

          Some are much harder than just changing the cartridges, then peel the tape, even that is difficult for some elder customer. Hence why the offer is appealing if you have not installed one before or is unsure, or just don't want to bother with reading :D

          An example is Jackson's printer, where you need to spend time drilling holes in the right place and then fill the cartridge first, then connect the tubing up etc, messy but do able.
          That would be worth it's money in the install.
