I've seen those at anaconda and BCF, with a different brand…

EDIT: Can't seem to get free shipping

    • Yep, me too but free shipping means i dont have to go out in the cold to get'em.

Hmmm, no free shipping for me, even after logging in

  • DOn't be sucked in, these are <$5 at Anaconda all the time.
They're not "Roman" brand or if they are theyre from the same factory as Yum Cha specials.

They're OK but not worth $20. I bought 2 of them for my kids for camping at the usual $5 price point. Quite flimsy, but good enough for kids on camping trips.

  • I bought one of these, or a very similar one, but its a very weak beam. Its fine if you just want a bit of light around a campfire or in a tent or as a book light etc, but not sure you would want to use it hiking or even fishing where you want to see something 10ft away.

then again, for $5…you could probably buy one of those cree torches and sew it into the headband

  • If you go to ebay you can buy some Cree XML T6 ones for relatively cheap. However, they will require specialized 18650 or 14500 batteries (some do use ordinary NIMH cells but these do not have a very long run time).

  • i use these for working under the house / in the ceiling. wouldn't bother with them for camping

  • Well, I bought a couple of these for $5 each at Anaconda, with the great expectation of mounting an adventure camera to it via some 3D printing. Nonetheless, got it all connected, looked awesome….

…until the plastic mounting of the headlamp broke whilst in my bag. Yes, this may be purely my fault for storing it straight into my bag, but I am generally not careless with items. Just want to say that $5 is as much as you should pay (incl. delivery if applicable).
