My friend just got a bunch of Skylander Giants for $2 each. It was at my local which is shutting down after Xmas so don't know if they are clearing stock early. The team member said it was for today only. Currently around $20 from Target I think. Sorry I don't have any photo's. I might get a docket pic put up soon.

  Need more information then that. Location of your local? What did stock levels look like when your friend was there? Did the team member mention their store only or all stores?

  I assume it's their store only due to the closure so a actual location is paramount.

  They're all $4.49 and "temporarily out of stock" on the web site (I assume you're talking about the character packs?) so you got pretty lucky, methinks!

  Heaps of stock left. Local is Mt Gambier SA 5290. Could be clearing out due to the new ones they showed at E3? That's all the info I have. As I said, a friend got them, not me.

  What's the deal with these Skylander Giants are they some kind of toy. Toys are for kids!. I can't believe grown men are actually buying them. Talk about over grown kids.

    You must be living under a rock — have you never heard of the Playstation, Wii and Xbox? I hear lots of "non-kids" buy them…

    Had meant to vote negative on the sexist comment, but fat fingers on the phone made me hit + instead. I'm a grown woman, btw, and yes I buy Skylanders toys for myself, my hubby, and my kid.

        These 'toy figurines' are to used in conjunction with the consoles… maybe you should look up what they actually are, rather than judging everyone for no reason.

  Who marked this as expired? And why? The website doesn't seem indicative of real stock.

    The team member said it was for today only.

    OP entered the expiry date as yesterday.
    If anyone can confirm that the price and availability is ongoing then it can be changed.
