Very Good price for the children to use

  • Incredible price. Isn't that about half what the Nexus 7 has been going for recently?

    • +1

No wonder, because the nexus is better

  • This is probably one of the cheapest tablets you can buy locally that has GPS. Might make a good navigation device, if you have Navfree or Navigon app installed.

  • +3

Wish it had at least 1GB RAM

    • +6

Fear not, according to the specs it has 512GB RAM. (I'm sure they mean 512 MB though..)

  • +7

    Wish it is FREE

    • good one

      • Wish they paid me money to take it off their hands…true ozbargain style :)

  • I can't see a cash back offer on this item, other acer devices do however have the cashback offer.

  • They are really clearing out the old one for the new 8".

  • Asus Memo pad HD 7 is out to compete with B1 at cheaper price than Acer A1. So I'm guessing a new generation of b1 is going to be released sooner or later.

Had this for 1 week. Absolute rubbish. Slow and the screen is atrocious.

Pretty much aligned with Acer quality then

      • +1

  • +1

was actually going to buy this but changed my mind until i saw the reviews!

  • Just as terrible as the ipad 1

  • +1

    Here's a review of it

    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Acer-Iconia-B1-A71-Table…

I have one and it isn't as bad as you think.

It's true, you get what you pay for, but as a spare budget tablet for the kids or to bring when travelling , you can't beat it for the price.
