Doesnt look like 30% off store wide. tried the gas heater and came up as $0 discount

    • That's because it's already on sale

      • +3

Offer states "Site Wide"?!?! Only clearance bin excluded from deal. That's crap.

    • Tried $209.30 with free shipping, 30% off applied at checkout. if it doesn't work just logout and log back in again. Best price seen so far on this heater.

  • Anything of value?

    • Not that I could find. So far anything that's a reasonable price to begin with is in clearance. Well keep looking.

Everything (I was looking at yesterday) seems to be more expensive, some items are more than twice what they cost yesterday!

MOST of the EOFY Sale items have $0.00 discount despite being increased back to full price.
For instance, Nostalgia Electric Cake Pop Bakery Kit was $19.95 with Free Delivery. Now it is $39.95 + $11.00 delivery. Even though it has now been increased to $39.95, they have given it 0% discount as it is still sitting in their clearance bin. So now it costs $50.95 delivered. Ouch!

Furthermore, even if it has 30% off, it is still a lot more expensive than it was yesterday as they now charge $11 postage with no discount no matter how many you put in your cart! Yesterday, they had discounted shipping for every extra item you add in your cart (even if the 2nd item is of a different sort).

So be careful what you buy with this 30% off discount. It is indeed very misleading.

    • I didn't find the same. A few things I've been monitoring are unchanged in price and postage, but that could be because they're already on sale.

      Those mo-fo's!

I was price hecking the bottles of Johnny Red yesterday. It was $36.95 and $0 delivery, today its $36.95 - 30% + $11.00 delivery = $36.86

So in essence with todays "30% discount deal" it is $0.09c cheaper than yesterdays available delivered price.

Ban these people from posting here. This is wrong.

      • Agreed. Do they post deals themselves, as a Rep?

How disappointing! I was hoping for another day of extremely cheap things I don't need.

    • +1 with scarletshoes

True Religion shoes were $9.95 during EOFYS. Then priced changed to $24.95 or $29.95 the day after. During 30% off sitewide, they increased to $49.95, immediately after 30% off sitewide, they decreased to $34.95, which is the price they are still at now. (At all times they have been free shipping)

  • Well they used to sell dyson vacuums but they don't seem to sell them anymore so probably not as good as it used to be…

    Do they sell any laptops?
    Can't seem to find any…

I'm fairly happy. There was a DVD shelving unit & some pet stuff that I'd been watching as they weren't on sale. The 30% off pretty much just takes of amount the shipping costs, so I guess it equals to a free shipping day. The things I was watching are reduced, but the discount won't come up until you go to checkout. I was hoping for discount and free shipping, I guess that will happen as soon as I buy these items. :S

  • All the prices marked back to normal….

  • I've been looking out for the Lifespan Dymo Treadmill and the 30% code works quite well:

    http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/lifespan-dymo-treadmill/

It came to a total of $307 including delivery to the suburbs of Sydney.

    • Is this a good one( Lifespan Dymo Treadmill)? or Lifespan Jazz Treadmill would be better.
Is 40 cm width running surface usually sufficient and convenient?
Any other suggestions in the similar price range?

In comparison to the deals we have seen from DD in the past few days, this isn't a great deal.

The only thing worthwhile that I can find is the RUGS, which are free shipping and the discount stacks with this. This is the best price you'll see DD rugs at, and they're cheap to begin with. If only I needed ( or even wanted) a rug….

Thanks for the heads up on the rugs…just got one have been thinking about getting for a while :)

Free postage and 30% off makes it a great price.

    • Thank you thank you thank you!

Got an awesome rug for under $100 which we need for our new house.

Great price and would have never of thought of getting one from there if it wasn't for you.

      Thanks!

Oz bargain you've done it again!

  • Thanks OP! We just bought the car seat we have been chasing - bargain with 30% off.

    http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/safety-1st-air-protect-swish-a…

    We saved over $100.

    • Don't see a discount on these, show as $349

This is a crappy deal. 3 cans of 3kilo pineapple is $17.95 then it adds $16.00 shipping???? get real, what a rip, each and every item you put in your basket increases the shipping. This is a bad deal even if it was 50% off.

    • +1

what you are going to do with 9kg of pineapple?

      • I'd hazard a guess at 'eat it'

        • maybe catering for a Costa Rican wedding.

    • $16 for 9kg aint too bad though. Can you really expect to get 9kg shipped for the price of 3kg?
If you were buying small/light items it would suck, where the postage cost they pay for 1 item is the same for 5 items, yet they charge you postage x5.

      I'm surprised they sell pineapple.

      • +1

I expect to get it shipped free. And I did today, and the pineapple itself was on special for half price, so i got 18 kilos of it. I paid $17.94 for 18 kilos of tinned pineapple with ZERO ship costs!!! Now thats a deal!

        • and yet you have a neg vote?

  • A lot of them they up the price before the discount.

  • +1

I've been watching an Outdoor Setting and a Heater for a couple of months now. Prices on these couple of items (including any postage)was cheapest I've seen so far.

  • +1

not a deal, they've just jacked up the prices of all the stuff.
