Why not list these options so that everyone knows. I don't think you'll get too many variations.

        • Yes, it would be good to know what's available and why people want it - for this noob anyway - plus the prices.

      • Done, Thank you.
I hope I will only have to pay the difference.

        Thanks again,

For those who ordered a customised system based on the current build please post back with the quote.

  • +3

please keep it honest OP, many of the modifications people are suggesting represent the interest of the public at large (SSD, discrete gpx etc).

  • +1

You should really not be offering the 4770.

This deal would be much better with the 4670. (Assuming the price is reduced accordingly.)

    Ideally the 4670K!

    • It is truly overpowered! But some people want the best ;)

      • +2

It's not really any better, it's just a $100 mark up for a feature most people won't need.

If you're doing video editing etc. then maybe.

    • Agreed.. Most games cant use 8 threads.. so 4 is more than enough…

      • I wonder if this is going to change soon though, given that the new Xbox and PS coming out later this year will both have 8-core processors.

      • You have to remember though that just because the game isn't "using" them background tasks like OS, antivirus, etc all get offloaded onto those cores to give the game 4 cores that aren't doing anything which can take the load.

  • dats alright ey'

  • Is 11:59pm tonight the cut off date?
I ask as can't make payment until tonight.
Also - 1 year warranty. Is that an error?

    Thanks

    • Hi Kenny, this offer will be finished by 11:59PM tonight or when the stock is sold out. What did you mean by error?

  • Hey rep, 2 questions.
Any chance of an i3 or basic i5 system.
Also I know a lot of people love building the systems, any chance of a combo deal (board, CPU, RAM etc) possibly without the case?

    • +12

Pick me…Pick me…..I know the answer:

"Please email your request to [email protected], they will do individual quote for you"

      • Haha brilliant!

      • You win! If you'd like to have a individual quote, please email to [email protected]. We are not able to do any discount for parts only at this stage. Thanks.

1tb hdd is a bit povo these days ;)

  • All are good except that I want an i5 4670 and more ram(16g). Got a quote customised(with 4570) with the same price which is not that appealing as I expected though.:( Maybe I should wait till the next deal. Thanks anyway.

    • Hi, I believe it is at least $30 cheaper on parts than elsewhere and we also bonus free assembly and 1 year labor warranty.

    • Got to remember that ram is hitting crazy prices atm. 8gb was like $40 not too long ago now it's $90.

Last one is just sold. Thank you for your interest and great support. We will post another deal here very soon. See you guys.

    • +2

Keep up the good work CPL.. and keep the deals coming!!!

    • -5

err - you could have let us know about the low stock for this then!! i emailed you nearly 2 hours ago - no response, and now you're telling us its sold out? what was the point of telling us to email you then?

  • +1

    Dammit, missed it

  • +1

    Argh missed out.

Exactly the sort of build I was after without any modification

  • +1

dammit, missed again. i took too long to decide.

  • wow, these sold out quickly

  • That would explain the lack of a reply to the sales email address then. Maybe next time then!

  • +2

    Just an update,
    I added a nVidia GTX 770
Upgraded the board to a Z87 extreme 3 and bumped the PSU to a 800w.
    that came to $1279 + $44 freight.

A really good price for a system that should "with upgrades" keep me going for 4-5 years.

    • +1

hey there I'd be intersted in a similar build. did you get it with the i7 as well? happy with your decision?
