in fairness two tin cans and string are better than Ed Hardy for Ears

      • +2

I think a fairer comparison is four tin cans and two pieces of string.

        • That is how OW found out about this deal.

  • I didn't notice this at Keswick SA store today, I had a look at this section as well. Great deal for anyone that can get it.

  • Shall have a browse tomorrow! Thanks OP :) Were those the only colours that were left?

    • That's the whole lot i guess… last piece for green iirc

Original price @ OW is $19.95 FYI.

They were once on sale in coles as well.I bought them for $1 or 2 each, couldn't remember clearly.

  • Wow from the photo the ear pads look comfy!

        Oh the irony

  • What is the model number of these "cans"?

  • Also, how is the quality of these?

    • +2

Better than a lot of other $2 headphones I'd say.

  • picked up the last one from Croydon SA store. Not all colours are for $2. Only lime green and light blue for $2. Black, Green and Blue are still selling for $19.95. Btw sound quality is awesome.

    • lol you're kidding right? One pushes hard against your ears

The Bunnings ear muffs are not very good. They look and feel like low quality generic Chinese goods, but according to the Bunnings site they are made in Australia.

I recommend ear muffs marketed at firearms users and manufactured in Amerikkka.

      • Ha ha, ironic

        • Yeah I'd imagine they are made in China put together in Australia or something like that. Test for quality in Australia maybe.

I remember seeing some pliers that were supposedly Australian made at Masters. They looked way too crappy to be Australian made.

        • australian made these days can mean only packaged here…

Do they call them Liquid Ears because they make your ears bleed?

Your brain matter will leak out from your ears

    • Wrong Croydon, that is in VIC :p

      • +8

Yeah i know. I don't let the facts get in the way of an off-topic comment.

        • good one freckle nuts… dint you post this in another deal… good for a laugh

        • +1

Umm, yeah - apologies for the repeat - couldn't resist resurrecting it given the Croydon reference.

I for one sympathise with the guy…

        • Since I live in Sydney I thought the audio was someone who lived in Croydon near Straithfield (NSW). It would drive anyone to distraction having to contend with Parra road every time you drove your car to the shops.

    • haha the ending is priceless - "NOOOOOOO"

I went into the Holden Hill store and asked the cashier to show me her cheap cans. Well, I won't be back in that store anytime soon.

    • +5

Yuck, I wouldn't want to see a girls cans that live in holden hill.

      • actually, i've been pleasantly surprised every time i've been in there …

        • Yes me too.

        • Must be used to Elizabeth girls then. I'm going to stick close by Glenelg :)

  • I went to officeworks at marion tonight (had to play basketball right next to it anyway) wandered around for 10 mins and couldn't see them.

You need to look lower than the hoop.

    • That suck. I was gonna go in today and see. Croydon too far

i took your advice and told the wife I asked the lady at office works to show me her cans, specifically green ones, I said also that I wanted good sized ones and not to big or small.
