This is a dupe of my other post (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/108904) but thought this deal deserved its own post. Borderlands 2 for only $9.95 or 600 MSP. Crazy price, amazing game! Buy, buy, buy!

Update: It seems that the first 3 DLC's for Borderlands 2 are half price for Gold members.

    this or ac3 for 20 bucks…hmm.
    i guess if u buy from xbox live you cant re-sell, so need to take that into account. borderlands 2 is about 25 bucks on ebay at the moment.

      I 100% completed AC3 at 51 hours, and I'm currently around 40 something hours in BL2… so both are great games with lots of value. BL2 is probably the more universally loved out of the two, and maybe a safer buy.

        It's probably also relevant whether you've played the previous AC games. AC3 is most likely the end of a plot thread that goes through the entire series, one that you would spoil if you were to play it first. Considering that AC3 is the fifth game with that plot thread you may want to go through the other games first (which would also be cheap and long - would be quite a while until you caught up to AC3).

        Borderlands 1 was fun, but the plot was nowhere near as important to the game. I'm guessing you could quite easily jump into BL2 without ruining the experience of BL1.

        Mate, you should wait for the season pass to go on special. It's already a 33% saving so the 50% off this week isn't THAT good. At least you can pick and choose your packs I guess.
