DEALS DIRECT 50% off + FREE SHIPPING ALL Homewares, Beauty & Grocery (INCLUDING SALE!)

3360

THIS IS INSANE!!!! I just spent $350 on items I don't need because the bargains are HUGE! EVERY SINGLE ITEM is 50% off (and if it was on sale, 50% off the sale price) + FREE SHIPPING, in the above 3 categories.

Excuse my use of capitals but I am super excited, this has got to be the deal of the year!!!

I could post some particular deals here but there are too many to list!!! The 50% off and free shipping applies to the SUPERMARKET, HEALTH & BEAUTY and HOMEWARES categories. I note that some of the Supermarket items aren't 50% off the already reduced price (still bloody good prices though), but everything in the other 2 categories is 50% off the prices that they were this morning!

If it says 'Half Price Shipping', it will be free shipping when added to your cart as long as it's from one of the above 3 categories.

Remember to use Qwibble or another site for a cashback (4% on Qwibble), and for some people the coupon code BUYME10 will give an additional 10% off (this works for some and not others, there doesn't seem to be a rule to it - it doesn't work for me unfortunately!)

Seems to have great reviews all over the internet, is oven and dishwasher safe and looks like Anolon supplies these with lifetime warranty… hopefully anyway.

    Very happy with that!

This DD sale is strange - it's almost like one part of the company organised it on a whim while another organises promotions in the newsletter which aren't as good.

For example, in today's newsletter they advertise set of 2 lamps for $49.95 (were 69.95)… but the actual price in the 50% off sale is $35 + free shipping.

They also advertise selected beauty products with 1/2 price shipping, whereas we know that all beauty products are actually free shipping!

If they had advertised the 50% off and free shipping sale in their newsletter, it would drive a lot more traffic. Strange!

    • Maybe someone in back office likes to run experiments by changing price… Waiting for someone on ozbargain to notice and then BAM watching the results

  • BAM, You're Fired!

  • +1

this is what I call a SALE

  • Anyone know when this sale ends?

    • 07/07/2013 at 11:59pm. Under their description here : 50% OFF Promotion.
For a limited time only, while stocks last.

Promotion begins at 5:55PM Tue 02/07/2013 AEST ending at 11:59PM Sun 07/07/2013 AEST. Only while stocks last.

      • This promotional offer is only valid if you complete the checkout payment process before the stated promotion end time.
      • Most items will sell out before it ends… most things are sold out already!

      • Some items, for example the Mach3 blades are only for today it seems, though are "Almost Sold Out" anyway. Page says "Promotion begins at 12:01AM Wed 03/07/2013 AEST ending at 11:59PM Wed 03/07/2013 AEST."

      • Thanks, ozbargain has given me a shopping addiction bad! I've spent days trying to find other sites with deals as good as these but no luck. Everything I wanted is sold out and now I feel stingy to spend more $$ somewhere else!!! All I wanted was a trunki

  • When i click 'add to cart' it just brings me to a page that saids 'cart is empty'.
I don't have anything in my cart and only want to buy one thing :(

    • +1

      maybe its sold out?

    • I've had that since yesterday for some items. Those items are now marked "out of stock".

  • thanks op for making me order things I didnt need. like 6 bottles of shampoo and a hair dryer. Lucky for my bank balance not many things left by now.

    • yep came back for more and heaps and heaps of items have been either sold out or removed completely from the site :(

  • Spongebob's crib is back on sale if anyone's interested

  • Stop buying stuff people!!! Everything I want is sold out! :(

Just got my True Religion shoes - the $10 from a week or two ago.

Sizing is large - usually about US10, so got US10.5, but feel a bit like this guy.

  • Got my Gillette Mach 3 blades today. Reading this "http://thecounterfeitreport.com/product_details.php?product_id=114" article and identifying all that's stated, these seem to be genuine blades.

  • Just got a pair of steins branded with Cold Chisel propaganda. Yeah buddy!

Website did NOT want me to use Paypal for some reason. Had to use credit card direct.

  • site is being strange lately, i get curious to recheck it if things go back in stock …yesterday Spree was showing back in stock add it to cart, cart empty (ok not in stock) …now handwash showing back in stock add it to cart, cart empty (ok tricked me again!) lol

  • Just received my items … Happy with the Gillette blades deal … looks genuine …

But I was not that lucky with another deal … QUESTION: How many packets would you expect to receive reading this description:
    http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/garnier-clean-sensitive-velvet…

Garnier Clean Sensitive Velvety-soft Cleansing Wipes 25 Pack are formulated with plant extract to effectively remove make up without the need for rubbing.

    Features:
Garnier Clean Sensitive Velvety-soft Cleansing Wipes 25 Pack
    25 wipes per pack
Removes make up without need for rubbing
    Ideal for sensitive skin
    Dermatologically tested

    I expected 25 packs with each 25 wipes … but I only got 6 !!! … no where is mentioned that I only should get 6 …not happy :-(

    • Very dodgy. The only thing which mentions that there would be 6 packs is the product code under the description saying "(694218_x6)", but that's worse that mere fineprint.

      • Yep …after receiving the products I spotted that too as the only little indicator. Looks like the product code to me … it could also mean maybe that I should receive 694218 packets ;-). I am usually very good in reading fine print but this one was impossible.

I contacted the service. Let see what they will say …

    • Yeh i thought that read 25 packs of 25 wipes too

  • Got my Eurolab $2.50 steak knives this morning. Sent by Fastway, found them at the door. Pretty good deal. still waiting on Camelbak bottle

  • received my 12 x 10pk Sorbent Kids Tissues today as described:

    12 x 10pk Sorbent Kids Tissues.
Carton contains a total of 120 individual pocket packs.
    10 tissues per individual pack.
    3 ply tissues.

so 1200 individual tissues in total for $9.97 delivered :)

  • Deals direct has only just shipped two of my items today! Took em a while! Wonder whats happening with the other items I ordered….

    • +1

Same here, and a lot of mine still haven't been shipped whereas others have already arrived… they seem to be snowed under, so I'll give them more time before judging :)

  • The courier dropped a note at my front door today asking me to call them as the item requires signature. However, my other item was left with the post office, which I prefer. What the hell? Is DealsDirect using two courier services?

    • They use Australia Post for some items and Fastway Couriers for others. You don't get a choice. They also post items separately even if made in the same order, which is annoying.

      • They use Australia Post, Fastway Couriers and Allied Express. Maybe more, but these are the ones I have tracking notifications from so far.

    • had the $2.50 knives left on my doorstep by Fastway this morning.

      • The note was left by Fastway

        • guess it comes down to individual couriers. I am much happier for them to leave it on the doorstep than have to call and rearranged delivery.

        • especially if it's just tissues :)

  • My stuff arrived today! Faster than i expected - shipped via aus post and fastway!

12x4 packs of Kleenex Aloe Vera tissues, 48 duracell AAA batteries, and some travel stuff

  • Had my order cancelled for no reason received an email aaah so frustrating

  • Just had my shaver cartridges refunded as they had no stock. Didn't even let me know they were on back order til I inquired as to why I hadn't received them yet! I told them I would wait and not to cancel my order, two days later they do it anyway.

I bought a Mach3 shaver just so I could use these cartridges. Damnit!
