70

Hi guys,

I was looking for something to use my $120 store credit on and found these headphones on clearance. Pick up doesn't seem to be available, but shipping is only $2. A quick google search has these selling at around $65.

Hope you can snag a pair!

Bad Reviews… but who wants headphones for audio quality ;)

    Product Review http://www.productreview.com.au/p/philips-shc2000-ir-wireles…
A lot of static except for being directly in front of the IR sensor
    Rating: 1.0 - Terrible

A nice comfortable pair of headphones and the replaceable rechargeable AAA batteries are a good and convenient feature.
I tried the receiver plugged directly into my TV and then my stereo and an unacceptable amount of static can be heard through the headphones. To get rid of the static you need to sit directly in front of the receiver without moving. The static wasn't that noticeable if you were listening to music, but listing to the radio or TV proved annoying. In my opinion, this makes the headphones unusable for the purpose that I bought them.
Swapping the head phones for another set didn't fix the problem.
    + Comfortable, replaceable rechargeable batteries.
    - An unacceptable amount of static despite being within the range of the receiver.

  • Not bad. Bear in mind these are IR transmission not RF

  • IR means direct line of sight, potentially susceptible to sunlight…I was excited there for about a minute.

  • I wouldn't even bother, the static would be incredibly annoying. No way you could sit on your couch and use these

  • Tried to order one but :
