high grade original 18650 battery inside

So how do we know if its high grade
Do we just take your word for that?

What happens if we test it and capacity is below 12000 mAH , can we return it at your cost (return postage) for a full refund?

    • +2

good one, coz it is almost guarantee that it doesnt have 12000mAh…none of the battery have full capacity as they claimed. why even try?

      • +7

You are welcome to test if if you would like and if the battery capacity is lower than advertised, you get to keep the device and get a full refund!

        • +2

Can you tell us the brand of the 18650 cells you are using within the battery? i.e. Sanyo?

      • true , well at least close to 12000 mAH, even 11000 mAH would be good

But ive found alot of Chinese Battery Banks that claim 12000 mAH to be no where near the advertised capacity. And this is my main concern.

        • This product is not one of those fake products. As a power bank user myself, it has lasted me for nearly a year and I can still charge my Samsung S3 5 times with it!

        • Lasted a year = how many cycles?

        • Actually what I meant is, it has been a year so far, and it can last for more years. As for number of cycles, I charge it every other day. So, a minimum of 180 cycles so far?

    • +2

Yes, if you test it and if it is below, you can definitely return it and get a full refund. Or even better, you get to keep your product and your money will be returned through paypal in full.

      • Ok, I just bought one and will test it.
        Thanks OP.

        • Thank you!

        • How do you test the mAh?

      • -2

thats very generous of you but youre just setting yourself up for a loss. people will just say theyve tested it and that its not the claimed capacity to get their money back

        • Agreed. It's a very good gesture, but I worry that there are some people who will take advantage of this in unethical ways.

    • Yeah, it seems to be generic too.

I'd rather pay double for an anker 13000 from eBay.

      • +6

It is generic casing as you have said. It doesn't make sense to put a brand to it and charge higher for a same product. What matters is what is inside the product. The capacity of the battery is guaranteed and can be tested and returned for a full refund if you find it is not of expected standards. Thanks.

    • +1

Can you give me advice on how to test this?
I just purchased one because I need to extend the battery life of my phone.

    • see below

this battery is rated at 45W and 8500mha

  • so how many 18650's for 12000 mah? Should be 4.

    • -1

      yes, you are right.

    • How did you work out 4 18650's?

      • +3

The most common 18650 cell at the moment are around 3000mAh per cell.
Panasonic make 3100mAh and 3400mAh cell, but they are still less common, and command higher price even when being bought in bulk

  • Wonder what's inside? Trustfire/Ultrafire cheapies?

  • It is original Samsung battery. Only reason it is cheap is because it is going at a clearance. These are the last few pieces.

    • whats the quantity on hand?

      • Last 75 pieces are going on clearance sale.

        • +2

          74 now…Looking forward to finding those 4 Samsung 3000mAh 18650s inside.

        • +1

          73now… xD

  • +2

I have placed an order just now. How soon would you ship it? Will you ship it from within Australia or overseas? How long will it take for delivery?

Will you send me an order confirmation email with tax invoice?

    • +2

      from the top post

      (guaranteed delivery in a week)

      • +1

        Thanks.

  • My question is can we bring this onto a plane? ie. do we have put it in checked in baggage?

    • This can be safely brought on a plane, and I have personally clarified for you after you asked this question. Also, I have always carried many powerbanks in my back pack and there has never been any issues. They see it like a phone or a laptop!

  • Since you guaranteed it, I will buy 1. If the capacity is not as advertised I will demand a refund. I've got 3 12,000mAh on ebay and all are fake.

What about the output? Is it as written? With the fake one, even though it states as 2A but in fact it is not even 1A. You can easily test it by the charging time.

My Galaxy Note 10.1 battery is 7000mAh (7Ah), so with 2A charger, it will takes around 4h to be fully charged.

    • Output is definitely as written and I always use the higher output if I need to charge twice as fast! Always worked!

  • +2

I ordered one too..Not a big deal but is says there is a choice between white or black but I wasn't able to specify my preference ??

    • All the 75 clearance products are white.. my apologies, but you will like the white!

  • Yes I've just got one too and would like a white one.

Its meant to contain 4 Samsung 3000mAh 18650s.

      • -7

Doesn't say that in the ad or title here.

I wouldn't touch Samsung 18650s anyway. The only 18650s that are useable and trusted are Panasonic, AW and Efest. The rest are re-wrapped trust fire bullshite!

        • +2

You sound like a sparkie who want everyone to pay them $65 an hour. Careful! Careful of the electrrrricity!!!!

  • I felt the need to neg this to warn people.

  • +1

Did anybody receive one from PARI G's last two offers?

    • If I can provide you an assurance, the product will be delivered as detailed in good condition! There have been hundreds of satisfied customers and I will let them answer your question further!

Hope this isn't going to be another zingy…. Though this time I'll be putting through the PayPal dispute for sure.

  • +1

    please confirm it is 12A*5.25V = 63W
because i have issue before they claim 12000mha but only at 3V..

    Watts is more important..

    thanks

    • -4

ill neg this if no feedback in 12 hrs

    • +1

18650 is designed to be 3.7volts.
i think it is same as your experience before.

      • +2

        so this battery is rated

        8500mha at 5.25V

as no one charge at 3.7v

        12*3.7/5.25

        thanks

  • Someone straighten me out.

I've got a BenQ U121, use it at location 'B' (where i can store it), but live at location 'A'. I only take it from B to A in order to recharge it, so it takes a few hits in the process.

Can i carry one of these around, connect it to the laptop when using it, then only take the battery pack home in order to recharge it, without ever having to connect my laptop to the mains again?

The battery capacity of the U121 is meant to be around 5200mAh, but i only tend to drain about half of it in any one go.

I'm pretty sure the answer is 'yes'…

    • laptop usually use 18volts, this time is 5.25volts, so the capacity is very limited. and I don't think it would suit your needs.
      5.2ah x 18volts
      12ah x 3.7volts
see the differents in watts hour? and I don't know how you are going to connect them to your laptop? laptop don't use USB for charging.

      • I'm pretty sure the answer is 'no'.

Actually the lower voltage is enough to kill it (and the fact that it probably wouldn't charge via the USB) … battery capacity in terms of total energy (mWh) is a secondary issue, but thanks.

        • +1

          the unit is ok.
          mWh = mah * voltage

          like 12000mah *3.7v = 44400mWh

  • When it comes to batteries, I'd rather buy the insides myself. Easy to find an ebay 4x18650 enclosure for $10. That way, you can have 8 batteries you can trust, and theoretically true over +20,000mAh

Not saying this uses low quality batteries, just saying that most enclosed battery units do use low quality recycled cells.

    Buyer beware.

  • +1

    hi
    i need 4 . how to buy?
    please mesage me asap

  • +2

Buying anything from Singapore nowadays as if you are buying fake stuff from china, the only difference is the label "Singapore " and faster in shipping (lot closer than from China).

Plenty of dodgy Singaporean retailers roaming and scamming high Australian dollar (oops not anymore) in eBay and other online shops . Beware!!

FYI, at least 1 million people from china mainland migrated to Singapore and they had certainly change the "game".

Talking from my experience as an ex- Singaporean myself :)

    • so these batteries no good? :(

    • +1

      I think it is true
I suggest look for a reputable seller on ebay at cheaper price.
Dodgy product from dodgy seller is not a good idea

  • My last set of 18650's came from hong kong. Just under $40 including post for a set of 4 Panasonic 18650B cell.
Rated at 3400mAh, discharged around 3250~ using a DealExtream meter (Apparently accurate).

Comparison; Also bought 2 Ultrafire's rated 3000mAh, discharged less than 1000mAh, and I pushed those ones just just under dangerous levels. They did charge again, but results didn't change.

just bought 2 .. am power hungry with my 3 phones, 4 laptops, 2 ipods , 3 tablets and psvita . i need backup power grid

    • Let us know how it goes, trying to decide to trust this brand I've never herd of or not.

Taking a second look: looks like a rebrand

      • This brand is very popular in Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore is the IT hub of the region and we also sell in bulk to other countries. Thanks!

    • Certainly you need a power grid. I am sure you will benefit from the Powerbanks.

  • +1

recently i bought Yoobao 13,000 mAH Power Bank YB-651. Seems good. I got it from aliexpress. U need to be careful when buying from aliexpress and buy only from reputable sellers.

  • I brought one
But didnt ask for my details and address

    I paid through paypal

How do i know you guys got my order

    • Paypal will send your address to me automatically. I will send the product to that delivery address. In case, your address has not been registered correctly, we will certainly ask for a clarification immediately. If you are still unsure, please email your address and paypal id to [email protected] and we will check with paypal. Rest assured and thanks for that.

    • Okay thanks for the reply OP
      Great post and customer service

      My paypal address is correct

Cant wait for the product to arrive :)

  • The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has recently tested portable rechargeable batteries
and PowerBank 12000mAH is tested with only 18.53% capacity from the stated 12000mAH

The tested product might not be the same one in this deal
But just beware that it is quite certain that this will not reach to the stated capacity
In the same test from the university lab, even those "bigger" brand like Samsung, Philips and HTC battery packs only provide around 60% of the claimed capacity

  • Well i checked my paypal
And you guys took my money

Hope it gets delivered to my address

    • Surely the product will find its way to your home!

  • +2

Seems to be nice one and the rep is handling all the ozbargainbers.

  • it says expired but it looks like I can still purchase on the site?

    Any more available Rep?

    • I am so sorry but the deal had to be stopped due to overwhelming response. I will post another fantastic deal soon! Thanks!

  • Cant tell if deal is active still :/

    • Seems to wander off to PayPal OK when you click the buttons…

      • I am so sorry but the deal had to be stopped due to overwhelming response. I will post another fantastic deal soon! Thanks!

        • that is sad :( subscribed to hopefully get a similar deal soon

  • well good luck to those who bought

I will never trust those mah numbers, not even from reputable sellers

what you pay is what you get

  • Comparing these portable battery packs has to be one of the most confusing things to try and research…they all look the same. Here is a 30,000mah for $25 - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251264639610?ssPageName=STRK:MEWA…

    • No no no. cheap lithiums are potentially dangerous.

  • Mine arrived to day ok. Not overly impressed with the packaging, as no instructions, seems cheap chinese but battery pack itself is ok, comes with some adapters so all as described. Charging right now. Has a fair weight to it, will need to wait to see if it delivers. I have no ability tomeasure capacity so will haev to go on feel.
No screws visible so no way to check veracity of claim of quality 18650's.

    • Please let us know the results.

  • I AM NO WORRY NOW!
