There were more than 500 peices sold and the customers who ordered the first 75 pieces will receive the product by tomorrow. The rest of the customers will also receive the powerbank at this price although the offer was only announced for 75 pieces as a clearance sale. The other 425 pieces have also been sent by registered mail immediately, and the customers will receive the products by surface mail from Singapore headquarters. The tracking codes will be mailed accordingly. Those customers beyond the 500 mark have been refunded accordingly. Thank you for your support.

    • +1

My Paypal Order Time was 21:34:45 AEST.

Which of the aforementioned groups am I in?

      • Can I get your transaction id pls?

        • +1

I have sent you a PM.

Edit: Reply - you are in the pool that has been sent from Singapore by surface mail.

          Well that sucks. =/

    • When you wrote "guaranteed delivery in a week", what did you understand by that phrase?

      Just curious, that's all.

  • +1

I sincerely hope sent from Singapore by surface mail doesn't mean will be sent by sea mail because if that's the case it will be at least 5 -7 weeks before I receive my Powerbank :-(

If it had been made clear in the original post only the first 75 qualified for guaranteed end of week delivery I wouldn't have bothered purchasing.
    (Ordered July 5th @ 22:56)

REP, You said in your post

12,000 mAh (high grade original 18650 battery inside) at HALF PRICE: $29 (guaranteed delivery in a week).

Nothing was mentioned about the first 75.

  • +2

If surface mail takes 5-7 weeks, our 45 days paypal protection could be eroded in waiting.

The REP has changed the rules ie the guaranteed delivery in a week.

One person claims they have received theirs.

Would it be wise to lodge a dispute, now then close if item is received?

    • 75 buyers have already received their products. If you have not received yours, please message me your transaction ID and I would double confirm your product has already been mailed (Registered Post with online tracking) and provide you with transaction ID. Please do not stress yourself. I have already done this for 100+ buyers and they are satisfied that their product is also on the way, for this price though at a slower rate.

        Pls check. Thanks.

    • +1

I totally agree with you. Seller has changed rules of sale and shipping more than a week after the sale ended which is very dodgy.

    • +1

I have already spoken to Paypal and lodged a dispute/claim with them. I told Paypal Representative that seller has changed the rules of sale and shipping more than a week after sale ended. They have noted that on claim file and asked me to wait for 10 days. I have made a PDF of this sale listing on Ozbargain to keep it handy on Paypal's advice, just in case Paypal want this information from me. Paypal representative totally agreed with me that rules of sale should not be changed after sale had ended.

      • +1

Don't forget to make a police report.

    • I received mine within 4 days.

  • Rep, can you let me know when I will be getting mine. Transactionid=74L929458R1756240

  • Pretty annoyed with these guys. I wouldn't have purchased if I knew that they wouldn't ship within a week as I'm heading off overseas soon. I'm putting through a paypal dispute claim too.

    1. Has any of the so called 75 actually got their product? I've got a feeling that all are probably surface mail. Happy to be proven wrong?
    2. Has anyone actually received tracking information without asking or specific tracking information relating to their shipment?
  • +1

Gonna open the dispute now so I don't forget.

  • I received mine today
    I live in Perth
It was sent by Singapore Post costing $6.20

I'm happy with the construction of the unit.

I'm not sure in regards to the LED torch as there are only led lights.

The actual plugs are pretty poor, my iphone one is bent, but I'll be using my own usb cords

It's charging now, so I'll post a bigger review tomorrow,

If I get can get 3 full iphone charges out of it per 1 recharge, I'll be happy.

    I ordered mine 5/7/2013 07.11 PDT

  • Has anyone looked inside the units to make sure it's not just full of sand. Literally. I remember reading about it online awhile ago. Lol…

  • +1

Mine hasn't got sand in it, it charges ok from both ports.

  • Thanks for the update ilostnemo, looking forward to your review.

  • Im still waiting for mine, will give it to the end of the week and if nothing arrives will lodge a dispute with paypal.
I too read that i would have it within a week but that obviously is not the case.

  • +2

I managed to charge 3 iphone 5s and put 40% in another before it ran out. (From 0 charge)

    I'm happy with those figures.

My unit has a rattle in it, so I will fully test.

I found the led function, you hold the power button for 5 seconds.

The power led indicators is misleading ie after the 1st iphone charged it was only showing 2/5 leds but still managed to full charge 2 more.

    • +3

      3.4 x 1440 mah = 4896mah.

This is from the seller - how dodgy is this!

Seller: Power CreaTech will not be responsible for buyer's current claim as we have not mentioned any delivery time frame in our company website. The purchase might have been motivated by the advertisement from Ozbargain, however, the purchase is through our website, where there is no claim as to products will be delivered by a week. Ozbargain and my company websites are mutually exclusive sites and as such, Ozbargain advertisement is only valid for 75 pieces as stated. Only 75 pieces were said to be on the clearance sale. Buyer's purchase was not within the first 75, and thus we cannot deliver to buyer as such (within 1 week).

    • +2

It's funny how they mention there's no guarantee of 1 week but then say you missed out on 75 so don't get the guarantee

  • So why haven't I received my item yet?
I ordered this on the 5th July and it has been over two weeks.

This is my Transaction ID: 72V40175AB180692K
I should've made it within the first 75 to purchase as well // look at comments.
Sure people may have purchased it and not commented but I am pretty sure that I did buy it soon it was posted.

I plan on asking for a charge back if I don't receive by the end of this month.

    • same here, I am one of the early buyer, where is my item?

      • -3

We have sent you a detailed PM (with tracking IDs)on the order status, why you did not receive them in the first 1 week (because your was not within the first 75 and only 75 deals were up for grasp at that price within that time). 75 products have been received by our customers and those orders that were not within that category have still been sent off at that price, but in a slower mail (sent on the same day). All orders left our place on the next day of your order.

I lodged a Paypal Claim and have received my full refund two days before on 20 July 2013. Item has been sent using sea mail and you may lose your 45 days dispute file window if you do not receive the item within 45 days. So Paypal advised that please file a claim within 45 days. I am happy that I have received my full refund. If I had known that seller will deliver the item within 5-7 weeks, I would not have purchased it. I bought it because seller promised a guaranteed delivery within 7 days.

  • I lodged my claim too and got my refund today.

    • +1

I lodged a claim 5 days ago but so far no refund.
Status only shows "Being Reviewed by Paypal" so they had better find in my favour and reverse the payment or I wont be happy Jan.

      • +1

Philo, they should find in your favour given everyone has gotten a refund. Give it a few days.

  • +1

Does anyone here intend to claim "chargeback" because this was paid using Paypal Credit Card feature?

I am beginning to contemplate this course of action given the situation…

  • +1

I'm considering whether to lodge a claim just before the 45 day expiry, or right now.
Don't really want to wait another 5 weeks for the device to arrive.

    • meroveus lodge it now, don't leave it to the last minute in case you forget!

My refund has just been processed successfully.

  • +3

I received mine last week and opened the case.Inside are 4 "No Brand" 2200mAh 18650 batteries NOT the 4 Samsung 3000mAh as promised. Capacity therefore is only 88000mAh (if the "No Brand" capacity is correct).
Pari G has promised a full refund if the capacity is less than 12000mAh and you get to keep the Battery Pack…..Or do you?
I asked for a refund which never came so I've opened a PayPal dispute.
I'll let you know the outcome.

    • -2

All our powerbanks carry the quality that we promised and nothing short of that. We have supplied PayPal the evidence to prove the quality of our products, and PayPal is reviewing the case.

      • +2

Why are you requesting I return the Battery Pack to Singapore at my expense (when you sent it from Australia) to get a refund when you said "You are welcome to test if if you would like and if the battery capacity is lower than advertised, you get to keep the device and get a full refund!".
The Battery Pack is 8800mAh not 12000mAh and does not contain Samsung batteries so according to you I get to keep the Battery Pack AND get a full refund?
I have requested a refund from PayPal and you are blocking it.
You are obviously not a man of your word and just duped us/me into buying a sub standard product.

        • After explaining the issue 3 times to PayPal, I have at long last received a refund…
Looks like "Pari G" may loose out on this deal.

  • Thank you for confirming the suspicions I had the minute I read they were being sent by sea-mail after the rep guaranteed 3000mAh Samsung batteries or money refunded.

A devious plan to circumvent Paypals buyer protection that has very much backfired!!!!

    • -2

There are no plans. We have updated PayPal with all the tracking IDs and PayPal is following up with all of that. All customers who ordered should receive their products. All products will carry the quality as promised. Otherwise, if you are not satisfied, please request for refund via PayPal.

      • +1

They will not receive the quality as promised, they will receive a 8800mAh Battery Pack containing "no brand" dodgy 18650 batteries NOT a 12000mAh Battery Pack containing Samsung 18650s….

  • +7

Guys, this whole thing is a debacle.

For those who are awaiting shipment:
    - Please put a claim through paypal and then escalate (or escalate from the start to get paypal to make a determination)
    - Put a link to this thread and state that he guaranteed that shipment will be within a week and that this offer was made by a representative of the company/website.
    - He then change the terms of the sale after the transaction and said that the majority of the shipment was done by surface mail (a few weeks).

For those who received the package:
    - Please put a claim through paypal and then escalate (or escalate from the start to get paypal to make a determination)
    - Put a link to this thread and state that he guaranteed the quality of the shipment and said
"You are welcome to test if if you would like and if the battery capacity is lower than advertised, you get to keep the device and get a full refund!"
    - Take a photo if needed.

Don't bother trying to sort it out with them - these guys have misled the whole ozbargain community and continue to do so.

    • +2

I totally agree, even if the item arrives as described, it will be way too late for me..

HELL HAS NO FURY LIKE AN OZBARGAINER SCORNED….
After trying to amicably settle this by letting the seller know I could not accept a 5-7 week waiting period (I won't be at the delivery address by then) and would prefer a refund, I had to open a dispute in PayPal….the only response I received being the same copied and pasted reply found in this bargain thread from the rep Pari G. I rang PayPal on their 1800 number, it took about 5 minutes to explain what happened and how I had tried to resolve the issue, and after they viewed the website, and the feedback from the rep sent to me, they issued a refund. First bad buy I have had on PayPal, so I was pleasantly surprised they were helpful.

    • how do i escalate the claim in paypal?

and thanks for your step by step guide

    • +1

Just received my PayPal refund. Took just on 2 weeks from opening the case to finally receiving a resolution this morning.

Thanks for the help Cheungles, never had to dispute something through PayPal before and your steps really helped.

      • I received my refund last night as well. I sent another email regarding my dispute and referenced this thread again and the refund came through a few hours later.
        Thanks OzBargainers.

  • Can anyone else confirm sub standard batteries in this unit? Mine is on the way from Singapore but I'll put in a dispute now if it's going to arrive with crap batteries inside.

    • +2

I can confirm what other member above is saying, this unit will NOT contained 3000mAh battery. It only contained 4x2200mAh battery, with the total of 8800mAh instead of promised 12000mAh.
The battery cell brand is not Samsung as well. Original OEM Samsung 2200mAh cell wrapping is green, and not blue as contained in this pack.

You should go ahead and put your dispute now, as the difference between 12000mAh and 8800mAh are huge. To add salt to the wound, it will usually NOT reach 8800mAh in reality, since the cell is generic and not quality brand cell.

  • I have not recIeved anything and it has been nearly a month now
Can I please have a refund

Do I have to follow Cheungles steps
To put in a dispute claim through PayPal?

    This service is very unsatisfactory

    • My transaction id

Web Accept Payment Sent (Unique Transaction ID 9U2043750J803572Y)

Please give me my money back

Very unhappy you take my money from paypal

  • +1

I didn't even receive the item, so I made a dispute with paypal and got my money refunded. I think by now paypal is aware of this seller and paypal processes the refund without much hassle.

This is a good lesson for any dishonest seller who tries to mislead their customers.

    • I lodge dispute claim to paypal on the 26th last month and it is still pending.

How long did did you have to wait for the refund?

      • I lodged mine on the 23rd and I'm still waiting!

    • was this after Pari G gave you a tracking number?

      what did you write ozdeals?

  • I haven't received anything yet. I have escalated the claim in Paypal. He still has until 10th August to respond!!!
Learnt my lesson, Should have known better when looking at his website.

  • I didn't wait longer. Just call paypal and tell them what happened here.

he's customer service was nice at the beginning as well

        • Don't stress too much edBARGAIN, you will get your money back through paypal making a decision which it seems like your just waiting on (takes a few days) or through the phone call as advised by TivTiv (which seems to be more instant).

Sounds like the phone call might be the way for you to go so you can be done with it (seems like you are more anxious than I was!)

        • yea pretty anxious

          hope so

will call them during business hours

    • +2

I've already got my refund so intend to refuse delivery or won't collect at the post office that way it will eventually be returned to sender at no cost to me.

It will be at least another 3 weeks before it arrives anyway!

In its place I bought a Coolook PB-2000 housing and 4 GENUINE Panasonic 3400mAh 18650 batteries from Fasttech that was delivered yesterday.

A genuine 13600mAh and only cost $15 more than the $29 "12000mAh but really only 4800mAh" PowerBank from Pari G that more than likely consists of used laptop cells, so annoyed I got sucked in by this mob.

      • How long was delivery from Fasttech? I ordered the same unit after reading this.

        • It took approx 8 working days, ordered on 19th July and delivery 31st July or 1st August.
It was shipped via Singapore Post registered airmail.

        • Thanks philo
          Much appreciated

I'm still waiting on Paypal to make a final decision

    • why the hell buy has to send it back at his cost while seller has given the following guarantee?

"Yes, if you test it and if it is below, you can definitely return it and get a full refund. Or even better, you get to keep your product and your money will be returned through paypal in full."

Firstly we haven't received the item yet, and secondly, people who already has received has already tested the item and its not upto the standard that the seller promised in the advertisement.

Don't give up, call paypal again, give a reference to this thread and explain them what seller promised when selling the item. They will surely understand and will refund fully as they already did for many buyers.

paypal said he will investigate it

    • +2

I told them pretty much the same thing, mention that people who have recieved the item have been given sub-par quality goods, and that the rest of the community on the site you purchased off who have had issues have recieved refunds.

Stay persistant ed, you should be right mate

      • thanks… still waiting for paypal.

  • I have been waiting for someone's review and now I have lodge my claim with Paypal. This dodgy seller will get my neg for any future post on here. I have re-voked my +ve and I think everyone should revoke the +ve for this deal.

I now learnt my lesson, all the 12,000mAH are fake capacity, all these chinese crap power bank only have the true capacity of about 5000-6000mAH.

    • Everyone else should do it now if they haven't already done so.

  • +2

Anyone else had there paypal claim approved then appealed by the seller?

Very very dodgy and dissapointed that I fell for it

  • +2

I urge anyone who hasn't filed a claim, DO IT NOW. This guy is a liar, he cheated us all and now didn't want to refund. All his claims from the beginning is just all BS. Very dodgy seller.

  • +1

Done, got my dispute closed and money refunded. If you haven't received your item, file dispute now, let him escalate whatever he wants. Then you can escalate it and call Paypal, customer service guy told me that he will check Auspost website and there is no movement of the parcel since the claimed date of 6/7 so he closed dispute in my favour and give me a full refund.

Dodgy seller deserve like Pari G deserve this. Pari G, you are trying to cheat a wrong community.
