What I want to know is how is this different from the 1000H with 160gb hdd? I can't seem to see any difference. Great price anyway.

Looks good.
Better than the HD they were offering but that was $100 cheaper and only had a 900MHz processor.
The HE is what you want with the 1.66 and BT but thats $200+ more.

The 1000HE that's not this 1000HA deal also has the chicklet style keyboard (aka the Apple MacBook range) plus the new battery technology.

I don't recall if the 1000HA has this new battery too, but I'd expect quite a few new model netbooks to become available by June.

Remember, a netbook's an even better deal when you travel internationally and can clai back teh GST at the Airport tax refund counter, as long as you bring both the product and the tax invoice. :)

  If you're going to claim GST, make sure arrive bright and early in case there's a long queue. Missed out on $150 GST refund due to the wait, it was between missing the flight or $150.
