Nvidia GTX 260+ $289 @ Itestate.com.au (Currently restocking, orders still being taken)

120

Cheapest on staticice is $345.

Cheapest price I've seen since the dollar crashed.
I've ordered quite a few grand worth of computers form these guys last year and experienced the best customer service I've ever encountered. So I can highly recommend them!

I paid $270 last year for the order version, so this is a great deal if you're in the market for a new graphics card!

Flat rate of $15 dollars for shipping.

PS: First submit! :)

  • I have had very mixed experience with IT Estate. But I do know they deliver their goods. Communication is absolutely abysmal but if you just want to go and order your stock it will definitely arrive (usually fairly quickly).

Now I wonder, do I need a GTX 260+ .. 8800GT is holding up well.. maybe I sell it and go for the 260+.

  • Could probably sell your 8800GT off for ~150. That'll partly fund the upgrade.. :)

  • how much the shipping to victoria? anyone know? please advise. thx

    • I would assume that it is as indicated above:
"Flat rate of $15 dollars for shipping."

  • Umm I've dealt with ITEstate before and they are hit or miss. It's similar to MSY but in my experience I didn't have to wait as long.

  • Good deal indeed, but it says there "Coming Soon". However still can add to cart. How long is it going to be arrive if purchase?

    • Not sure mate, they usually don't take too long.
I'll change the deal title for now, hopefully they don't go up once they are in stock again. Though I'm sure if you place now you'll get them for the listed price.

  • Not so much a bargain. It's listed as coming soon and there will be a price drop for all computer stores soon.

    • For now it's 60 dollars cheaper then anywhere else in Australia.
      Bargain in my books.

  • Good price makes it cheaper than GTS 250. Just a warning though the GTX series cards are massive. they take up 2 slots of space and are very long. I had to buy a new case just to fit it in (previously had an Antec Solo, great case but the card would not fit).

If you need a smaller form factor high performance card go for the Gigabyte GTS 250, as it is a 9800GTX shrunken (there is a known issue though with using the latest Nvidia Drivers, you will need to update the BIOS on the card first).

    • Nothing a hacksaw and file can't fix! :P
