Kodak Compact 27 Single Use Camera. Was $10 Reduced to $3 Coles Warners Bay NSW

50

Hey Guys, I've always seen bargains posted about DSLR and mirrorless cameras…Etc.
Last time i posted the EOS-M Canon and this time is another camera but something different.

But never any about a Single use camera, tonight at Warners Bay Coles doing some grocery shopping i spotted this Kodak Ultra Compact Single Use Camera for $3. See Receipt Uploaded.

Sports a built-in Flash, 27 exposures and an EKTANAR Lens.

Might not be everyones thing but i might put some different filters in front of the camera and experiment with it for fun, i mean for $3 you can't go wrong. However I do know producing the film out will cost more….ALOT more.

Hope someone benefits !

There was about 10 left after i bought 3.

PS the photo was taken with my Pentax Q, which i also got cause of ozbargain ! =D

Here are some links about the camera, but the camera doesn't look exactly the same, instead it has a grey finish.

  • Places still develop film?

  • flash didn't work :P

    • really? i think Kodaks quality control is pretty good.

  • Rip out the capacitor bank from the xenon flash, make yourself a serious taser/alarm clock/mini coil gun. Good deal for $3

  • It is cheap to buy but far too expensive to develop and print. I would not get it even it is free.

  • Ive been to many coles since seeing this, mostly sold out in metropolitan Sydney, after roadtripping to Byron I stopped at taree and found that they had about 17 left. I bought the lot. They are set to expire in August, so my question is does anyone know what coles will do with them after tomorrow? (1st of August) do they have to thow them out? or will they further reduce the price? can some one from coles shead light on this?

Also to print them you can get them printed at most Big W's. at $10 for 27 prints I don't see how this is far too expensive. That works out to be about $50c per a Photo.
