          He's right. It is always free on Play and I have just checked, it is and free. I've had this for ages BTW. It is the HD that costs on Android.

          May be ad free version free at play. Not sure, let others to comment, since below Bruce stated it's not.

          However,
          Angry Birds Star Wars Premium HD (Kindle Tablet Edition) was $2.99 and free today… is a bargain I think.

          And one version in Play. What's your point? Its not a bargain if it was available free on Play since day one. The only thing that could be considered an ad is the option to watch Angry Birds Videos on the main menu, that's it. No ads in game.

          Kindle HD edition is a bargain of course. I was just pointing out that you were unfairly accusing another user of being negative towards your posts for no reason. I actually hate Angry Birds and the whole casual/mobile gaming sector. I have the game on there to bribe the kids on the odd occasion that I need them to be quiet whilst we are out and about.

    There are two versions on Google Play, one is free and the HD one is $2.99. The free version has ads, it costs $0.99 to get rid of ads. The version that Amazon is giving is the free version including ad free saving you $0.99.
