      Shopping express are pretty good in offering alternatives for out of stock products

      They offered me a second Belkin Powerboard instead of the Out of stock AMD CPU from their previous promo and i accepted without hesitation. They also offered me free shipping on my next order.

    Looks at $50 XBA3…..cannot buy another XBA unless =< $50.

    Which is a problem because I haven't been able to buy a printer since the $9 deal.

          Because that was the clearance price that Sony, the manufacturer, took.
          You realise these headphones retailed (and still do at Myers/DJs) for >$400?

          If milk goes on special for 50c for 2L for 1 week only, does that mean you will never buy milk again? This is a deal, and if I didn't already have my XBA3's from Sony, I'd buy this without thinking twice.

    Obviously those are much more expensive and have more drivers. XBA4 is a quad balanced armature model. Sorry if I sound n00b, but does that mean all up it has four drivers split between the two ears? Or are there four drivers for each ear? I would not call myself an audiophile but sound clarity and fidelity is important to me.

      4 balanced armatures (speakers) per ear, each tuned to a specific frequency such as tweater, mid, woofer and super-woofer.

      Personally did not like the Xba4 vs Xba3, bass is too dominant. But Sony fixed that problem in the Xba40 refresh.

        Oh, I wasn't looking at the XBA-40 but it seems there were some substantial improvements to the XBA4 sound after reading some reviews. Especially the bass. I looked at amazon and there are a fair few places that export them for around $180-200, unsure to Australia and shipping costs though. So $129 for XB4 still seems like a reasonable deal.

    Did anyone else come in a damaged box?, similar to the sony sale. These are sold as new but i am thinking they just bought all the xba4's from sony's damaged box sale and palmed them to us as new.

      Received mine in perfect condition, box was fine too.
      Although I did damage my box when opening it from the wrong side but that was clearly my doing.

      I'm very impressed with the quality of the sound from the earphones. Very satisfied with the purchase.
