Note: units are reknown for being portable, light with good battery life. Price eclipses anything I've seen on ebay. Given the X61T tablet was posted for $1599 recently, this is excellent buying if don't need or want a tablet.

These are only a fraction bigger than a netbook but offer far more performance and usability.
In case Penta don't have it, there is another one on staticice for same sort of money: http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=76734NM

If penta don't have this in stock, then it should be noted that they are annoying customers by advertising phantom units. Eg: ASUS F6VE, HP 2210B and this. The previous two bargains don't exist..

  • Second link on staticice, computerwholesale does not have an ETA for this and has no stock. Any reports on Penta having stock?

  • penta also list the X41. Is there anything they don't list?
Its looks like some sort of link-farm.

    • Yeah they have far too many items there. I mean choice is good but if I was looking for a laptop and didn't know what I wanted then I'd never know where to start looking in that list.

I'd have thought it's better to offer about 15 to maybe 30 models that are all rather distinctive and easier to differentiate not to mention allowing one to buy more in bulk if they keep stock on hand. That said it's not my business so whatever works for them I guess. Even the sales staff must get a headache but.

      • No stock.
You couldn't be blamed for thinking that they never planned on having any stock either.

        • What remedy is there to solve such advertising wasting customer's time? Third value unit that doesn't exist.. but is on their website.. So far 3 strikes: F6VE, 2210B and T7300-X61.
