The Everything Bundle (7 Plugins) A$4 (99% off) @ Purafied Audio

1910

Guitar Center pissed off Sam Pura by not honouring a pricing error, so he's making The Everything Bundle (would have been AUD$740, then discounted to AUD$372 for a sale) 99% off.

I'm not a huge producer - only a bedroom bassist - but it seems like a wildly good deal for professional tools, especially if you like his sound, and feeds the vst plugin addiction if not!

Probably not long to go now on the deal but it's still up 24 hours after it originally was posted to Reddit.

    Woah at the code

PSA: Check the revisions tab if you want to see what it was ;)

      • +10

        TIL there's a revisions tab

Just to clarify what OP posted and for context as a lot of people are unsure about how this came about, Guitar Centre had a pricing glitch for the UAD complete bundle which was ridiculously incorrect. This essentially led to Guitar Centre not honouring sales for people who purchased the bundle. Sam, being the stand up guy that he is, discounted his own bundle at a ridiculous price so people could get access to his collection. What a legend!
Also pointing out there is a 'tip' option for people who want to throw him a few more dollars for the bundle, though I am sure he is just as happy for people picking this up at the promo price

  • +3

    Omg lol

  • +5

Love the code, purchased and will figure out how to dabble using this lol at OP is this standalone or plugin for a particular software?

    • +4

I'm assuming they're VSTs and can be run by all kinds of software.

Definitely seem geared towards producing music, but you'd be able to use one of the compressors and the EQ to great effect to enhance your sound over voice chat.

I've done it in the past using OBS.

    • +3

It's a plugin, specifically a VST, for a Digital Audio Workstation (or DAW); it should be compatible with any!

A DAW is just a program to make music; there are a few tutorials out there to get started with navigating the interface (which can be overwhelming), recording, editing, applying effects (which is where these plugins come in), and rendering. (I learned with Reaper, which has a 60-day evaluation period, and its competitors are wildly more expensive.)

I'm not a pro by any means - I'm still learning too, but hopefully that answers your question!

    What did i just buy?

    • +34

      True Ozbargainer…

    • +4

No idea what this is but it’s popular and cheap, too good to miss! Haha

    • I bought… and still don't know what it is…

    • Ditto

  • +5

No idea if I'll ever use it, just bought to support!

  • +4

yeah, i got no idea what this is… but i guess i will soon

  • +1

I don't know what this is but I want to buy just for the code

  • Code checks out….

  • +8

Got it. Might even use it since I bought Logic Pro to play with.

  • +1

Do I need any hardware besides a usb microphone and a computer to play with this? Never heard of this one until now but a bargain is a bargain, isn’t it?

    • +4

There is an amp sim included in the bundle, so if you'd like to use it, you'd probably need a guitar :)

    • +3

You'll probably want an audio interface to capture sound from an instrument - probably a direct line in from a guitar amp if you have that, although technically you could use a mic as well!

      • Thanks guys. Looks like I will need to dig deeper on this.

        • +1

Good luck! I'm not the best person to ask as I'm only starting out too, but here's hoping you have fun - there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube for Reaper (or any other DAW which supports these plugins) and audio hardware, if any, can be found pretty often at Cash Converters or off different marketplaces.

          • +4

@zk22: Seconding Reaper. Very easy DAW to use (you would need to watch some tutorials though), and you can basically use it as long as you'd like without paying for it, just like WinRAR.
Regarding audio interfaces - Focusrite is the way to go.

  • +1

Insane price! Thanks OP, time to play around these plugins

  • +3

No idea what I just bought—but let’s figure it out

  • +1

lol at their descriptions throughout their site.
    Great stuff

  • +1

    Haha that's epic, thanks OP!

  • +2

I have no use for this, but for that price, why not right

  • +1

What's the full story? Were they supposed to honour the price error?

Yes it's absolutely annoying when businesses commit such errors just to attract more traffic and hits to improve their meta score, but if they maintain that in their T&Cs, they always get their way out..

Anyway bought it to support Sammy

  • +2

Bought. Now to remember that I have it when I finally get time to make some music…

  • Anyone have a recommendation for a guitar tutor?

  • +5
    • +3

Is it cheaper to buy it all separately?

    • Is it all watery? Still or carbonated?

  • No idea what it is, but bought it.

  • Nice.. thanks for sharing. Been a while since Ive used Logic pro but might fire it up again with these

  • What a legend that fella is

  • Bought it as a gift for someone I hope has a use for it. Meanwhile listening to Spirit World. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd74ifxCFoc

  • Thanks bought

  • Amazing! Thanks OP!

Keep on rockin' in the free world, and doot doola doot doo

  • Cheers OP. Bought and shared with some muso friends.

  • +3

dont know what this is so not buying and saved myself AUD $3.73

  • Never heard of this but I bought it. Does anyone have experience using any of the plugins?

  • The website has probably been hacked lol

    https://imgur.com/a/5KtcFJp#0LpTS5a

    • Nope, that's the actual discount code.

    • I hope not.

  • The panda rooms is getting hit hard, taking ages to download

  • -5

Mark it up to $800 then bring it down to $4.
Very smart way to brainwash FOMO people, Oh! it's a bargain that can't be missed.
If there's 100 customers, easy way to make $372. LOL

    • +3

No, that is not the case here. It's a genuine flash sale. They usually go for list price when not on sale, and they are seriously good plugins.

    • +2

A lot of work seems to hav ebeen put into these plugins and they're basically free compared to other stuff available

    • lots of software, plugins and of course hardware is very expensive in a musicians world

  • Yes, I too want to (profanity)

  • +9

For those that may or may not know, Purafied Audio is the brainchild of Producer Sam Pura (State Champs, The Story so far) and Eddie from Kiive audio.

This is what Sam had to say about each of the plugins:

    Liquid Death Snare
Super simple but kind of genius in its simplicity. I’ve always got it loaded when I need to sample a snare, which is basically always. I can set it to the key of the song, use it for room ambience or close mic reinforcement, and it just works. Plus it’s literally a great-sounding snare made by a water company you can buy at Safeway. That’s fun to me. Rich Costey digs it too.

    Micro Limiter
For about a decade this was my desert-island compressor. Stereo on keys, percussion, rooms, backing vocals—anything I wanted to hammer into place. I even used to reamp entire keyboard stem channels through it because it just beat everything ITB. First one I ever bought cost me $38, which is my spiritual number, so it’s special to me.

    DEATHWESTERN
This one means a ton because it’s tied to SpiritWorld’s “DEATHWESTERN” album. Back when it was just Stu’s wild idea for a cowboy-themed metal band, we captured all the tones with my mic robot and ended up with one modded 57 on a 5153/Orange cab that just crushed. I made a plugin out of those tones and launched it alongside their album. Not many bands get to release their actual record tone as a plugin. That’s my go-to DI amp sim. Eric Valentine even likes it.

    VU Comp
This is where Purafied really started. I told Ed I wanted a plugin with my three Hairball 1176s and my LA-3A, level matched and gain staged. I already had my workflow of auditioning between them when mixing, so we baked that into the plugin. Always lives on vocals, guitars, bass—still one of the most essential tools for me.

    SLP 538 EQ
Long story with this one. I got a pair, sold them, regretted it, bought 10 channels, and never looked back. Simple controls, no distractions, just pick frequency and gain. I used to reamp entire records through these EQs and call it done. In plugin form, we made it stepped like an API with auto gain, and honestly it’s more useful than the hardware. A magical, confident EQ.

    Panda Rooms
This is literally my studio in a plugin. My ambience, my vibe, my identity. It’s been baked into my records for 15 years, and I can’t imagine making music without it. Clients ask for “more Panda Rooms” on revisions all the time, and it gives me so much creative flexibility. It can turn mono into stereo, it can be surreal and fun, and it’s basically on every channel of my template when needed. Even Serban owns it, which just blows my ****ing mind.

    LED Comp
This one is like my dream hybrid VCA compressor. I love DBX for low ratios, SSL for 4:1 glue, Distressor for character—so I wanted a mix of all that energy in one. That’s what LED Comp is. It sits on almost every channel, and while I used to lean on VU for vocals, these days LED plus some ITB pieces like Ed’s Unfairchild is my path.

  • Literally changed as I was paying - discount code invalid but price updated to $4.

    • me too what was the code?

  • "Do I have the right to be mad? How can I prove that I would always honor a pricing error…"

Not really an error but I'll take it.

  • I play guitar but never use any plugins. Any lead to learn of how to actually use these things on/from my computer?

I got guitars and some actual amps. TIA

    • See comments above. You'll need an audio interface and a DAW.

    • +4

      You need some hardware:

      1. An audio interface (e.g. something like a Scarlet Solo 4)
      2. Guitar cable (with the big plugs on the end)
      3. A headphone adaptor (big plug to 3.5mm)
      4. Headphones that you can plug in to the above (ie. earbuds won't work).

You also need a DAW (something like Reaper).

      …and these plug ins.

To set up you need to connect the Audio Interface to your laptop, and your headphones and guitar into it as inputs.

You then need to install the plugins into Reaper or equivalent and away you go.

You probably also want a microphone (big plug) as well.

      • Thanks a lot

        • The amp in this pack is amazing. Let me know if you need any advice setting things up, I reckon you'll get a kick out of it

          • +1

@tassietigermaniac: Hi @tassietigermaniac Just read this replay.. Thanks mate.. I am in the market to get Scarlett Solo atm..

Already got Sparks40 but this look really good!!!!

      • Since you sound like you know what you're talking about. Do you have any views on the cheaper M-Audio stuff compared to the Scarlet?
Looking to get something to record, but not sure what to use. Last time I did any recording it was on an old BOSS BR-864 recording onto compact flash!

        • I don't know the M-Audio stuff, sorry. Scarlet isn't hugely expensive though. You can pick up the Solo 4 for about $160 if you shop around. It's unspectacular but extremely solid.

        • Haha, I used to record onto Minidisc using a Yamaha MD8 (https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/yamaha-md8)! OK, so I've tried Garagaband as well & it's not too bad.

      • Just plug cab speaker or amp into the output and you can adjust tone even further if needed, but obviously will only record the initial input into the daw if recording

You can just use normal 6.5mm guitar lead or XLR.
Headphones are an output, the sound is output to the headphones, guitar inputs sound

      • Can VSTs like this be used with the free GarageBand that comes with Mac computers (& iPads, etc)?

  • Thanks. This is a great deal.

Not since the KLF burned a million pounds, have I seen such a majestic act in the Music Industry.

  • This is awesome! I recently started getting back into Rocksmith 2014 and this is awesome alternative software. Cheers op

  • +1

Awesome bought them, now what do I do with them?

  • +3

From website: Well that was crazy…
At the moment, we can’t process orders or provide license codes because we've overloaded our license provider's server. They have asked us to find another solution.
We’re working hard to fix this and will be back online soon.
Thanks so much for your patience and support!

  • Same as cristtos.

Bought it for my brother who is a music teacher, who is keen to play with these tools.

  • I purchased them but I haven't used Reaper (my DAW of choice) in over a year. If anyone needs a copy and will actually use them let me know

  • Seems to be working now, if anyone is still interested.

  • +1

    Still working.

  • Back in stock, just purchased (for support, probably will not use it).

  • Ok I can't find my licence keys again… Just needed one for the Panda plugin that took forever to download and had slightly different install method

    • +1

Yeah what happens to the keys - gone for me too

  • Just purchased because I'd rather support this than get Maccas. Cheaper too! Tried to give a tip more than $4 and they said it has to be less. Amazing.

  • I purchased this $4:00, tried to add a $10 tip, only charged $4.00. What about delivery, is this shipped from USA? I'm in Melbourne. Thanks in advance

    • It's a digital download mate. You get an email with a download link.

      • Yeah, thanks mate. I see that now. Thanks
