    Just reading through your site & wondering - are the glasses actually made in Australia? I strongly suspect not.

      They state on their page that they source their frames from around the globe. Unsurprising really — Asians make the best stuff, bro.

        Frames I'm fine with (in terms of where they're made). Lenses less so. I've had several bad experiences with poor quality lenses / incorrect prescriptions from overseas that I'd rather not repeat.
        Bit annoying on their site, they try to make it look Australian but I'm not convinced it actually is.

    Hi Seanbsydney, Thank you for your questions, and I can assure you that smartspecs is not trying to hide anything at all. We are happy for customers to know that our lenses are made in China. Prior to sending to the customers the glasses are sent to us in Sydney, we check them for quality and accuracy. The quality and accuracy is very good, and we have been using this lens company for several years.
