  • Mobileciti has it for $85. Get a pricebeat…

    • does mobicity have a physical store or is it only via shipping?

  • Love that keyboard :) just make sure you are not sharing a room with a roommate though (the Blue CherryMX is noisy) - or u can grab the Stealth Edition (quieter - Brown CherryMX)

3 people in the office here all have Cherry Blue sitting within 5 meters of each other (myself included) it's clackity clack city.

      • ah i remember the days of the ducks in their clogs walking across the train tracks on their way to clackity clack city.

The cheaper ones on Staticice are 'tournament' edition which lacks numberpad so not the same with this.

  • any backlighting?

im waiting for the k95 to go on sale. but this is essentially the same thing without the funky leds

    • If it is the 2013 edition it does have back lighting if 2012 then nope oh and the 2013 is like a matte black where as 2012 is shiny which leaves more finger prints

  • Not exactly sure, but Razer logo at the bottom of the keyboard is blue which indicates it is the 2012 version.

  • I have one of these, mine is backlit, but appears to be slightly different to the one in the picture in that it doesnt have green and red lights over on the right hand side

If you get one and discover when you are typing that you keep navigating all over the place and closing windows unexpectedly, I believe they have a common flaw.
The space bar and alt keys rub together.
This drove me crazy but youtube showed me it was common and the fix is to carefully pop the keys off and sand them back.

Doesn't seem worthwhile when 2013 model is $115…

  • Just picked up one these from Officeworks Coburg. There were 2 left around 2pm. I called Officeworks Fitzroy the night before and they only had one in stock.

    FYI:
    - These indeed use the Cherry MX Blue Keys
    - It does not have backlit keys - you want the Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard for that, which costs more (2013 version, sells just just under $150 if you look around, otherwise around $170 in most other places).
    - this is the 2012 edition
    - most reviews suggest that there is no significant difference between the 2012 & 2013 models. So you may decide that paying extra for the 2013 model is not worth it.

One of the flaws of the non-Ultimate edition is that the keys are printed, so they will eventually smudge off with use and time.
