  • Hardly a deal, you can find cables on ebay for around $1 each

    • this local based stock, which means you will receive it within a week. eBay stores are not local. These are High quality as well.

      • Where bouts are you guys located?

Would this be similar to charging cable electrocuted a user in China?

    • This one uses two layers of sticky tape to attach the wires to the plug, not just one.

Would this be similar to (sic) charging cable (sic) electrocuted a user in China?

Hmmm…. I would be interested in knowing how a USB to Lightning cable could kill anyone. Other than being (mis)used to strangle, or to choke.

Of course an illegal (not certified) AC Charger could kill (especially when used on 240v) - with or without a genuine or a non-genuine Apple Lightning Cable.

  • My original lightning cable has recently started playing up ie. not charging unless its placed in a certain way. Just wondering if these cheap cables have any cons when compared to the $25 ones from Apple. Cheers

    • Generally speaking a cable you buy for $2 is not going to be as long lasting as a cable you buy for $25, even taking into account the "Apple" markup on all products. However, will 10 cables last you longer than a $25 one? Taking into account the fact that cables do get lost and left behind, probably but even so that's gotta be your decision to make.

    • I had this issue with my old HTC One X where it would charge the phone but not connect to the computer with these el-cheapo and unofficial cables. Might've just been mine but yeah…

I also have an el-cheapo cable for my iPad and it doesn't seem to sync/connect with the computer very well if at all. Once again though, it charges.

  • I've learned my lesson.

We only sell accessories that we use ourselves. We use generic products as we personally feel that they work just as good as the branded stuff but at a much cheaper price.

So, how do your Lightning cables compare with the Apple ones?

        1) What can't your ones do that the Apple one can?

        2) Will you replace your cables if they fail within a year of purchase?

My comment wasn't targeted at your business specifically, just buying fake lightning cables in general.
Most importantly they can damage your device ports if they didn't fit.
