    Well that escalated quickly.

  • Did you get one sketchy?

  • yep I got one about 10 mins before i posted this. I also bought the ezpad that was posted earlier today, but this is/was a much better deal IMO. I used the COMEBACK10 code, so the total i paid was 438.40 including shipping.

  • Sweet, good price!

  • Sounds strange for a data projector with 3D feature. For 3D data presentation? Maybe the 3D is different from the usual 3D cinema projectors require 3D glasses I know.

  • Anyone know of a good WXGA projector under 500?

    • If you can find them, Dell released an M110 projector as a 'business class' portable WXGA one which was hardly any good for business (at 300 ANSI lumens, it wasn't particularly bright for lights-off boardrooms beyond 60-70".

However, they make a pretty good 80" to 100" screen in almost-complete darkness (and in eco mode too!). A number of friends and I use them as Movie Projectors - they come up (or at least used to) on the Dell Factory Outlet site for about $300. They are LED (apparently 20,000 hours - but if I get 2,000 hours out of it before it breaks I'll be happy) and for movie projectors, they're actually pretty good. There is some argument suggesting that when you have text on a screen, it's not true 1280x800 (you can see some artifacts), but that appears to be the native advertised resolution.
