Cooler Master USNA (Ultra Slim Notebook Adapter) 95w - AU $67.50 + $6.20 Shipping to Aus

40

So in my quest to find the smallest and lightest replacement 95-120w laptop power supply I came across the USNA 95 only to find out it was discontinued by Cooler master in 2012 and replaced with a bigger USNA 120.

USNA 95 - 62 x 17 x 104 mm @ 166g (Smaller than my Galaxy S2)

USNA 120 - 65 x 21 x 156 mm

The USNA 120 had 2 usb ports, one with 2.1a output to charge tablets which did not make sense to me since most people who would need a 95w power supply are using a portable notebook/ultrabook of some sort hence not needing the tablet.

Anyway after hours of research I came across this deal and mine arrived today (6 days after ordering). On the cheapest shipping option as per thread title. I did not choose shipping insurance, however decided to pay with paypal which incurs an additional ~$6 fee. They even send a confirmation email with tracking number and pictures of the item and packed box on a scale.

I chose the Ship from Malaysia option…

EDIT 1:34pm @ 01/08/2013

This product produces 95watts MINIMUM.. and 120w PEAK/MAX….

Find me a cheaper one that is within 20% of the dimensions and reviewed by a reputable site/magazine and you win a prize…

Several similar products for less: http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=slim+95w&spos=1

Impossible to match exact product as it's discontinued (and possibly never available in AU).

How are any of those competing products? None of them even come close in size and cooler master is a known quality brand… and yes I bought one of those ones listed in staticice which im trying to flog off on ebay because they only have PEAK 90w.

And yes USNA 95 was available in Aus as all the stores i found that sold them no longer have stock.

In my searches the only competing product is the Thermaltake Toughpower 95w which is 50% longer in size and to me does not compete with this product

Did you even check the links from your own search on staticice? The closest competing product is the $72 Thermaltake Toughpower which i said above is 50% longer in size.

I think you should research the product type i'm posting before you troll… i did spend hours researching this including your 30sec static ice 'research'

    • Plus look at the reviews for any of those other no name ones.. why would you even trust it?

The only other one that had positive reviews is this overpriced one i posted here:

      • I'm sorry for the quick dismissal. I'd appreciate it if you didn't start calling people trolls because your feelings are hurt, though.

The product does indeed look to be superior to other options. Neg removed.

    • And this shop when i contacted them refused to ship to Australia as it would cost "$60" to ship…
