      For the low price I'd say the mission-based DLC, they aren't too bad. Unfortunately they are very short, like 1 hour short.

        Don't get the Nightmare in North Point one! (literally 1 hour long)
        But the Year of the Snake one is pretty long for a DLC (4+ hours)

    I got this during the summer sale for the same price (without the DLC). Great game, definately worth the USD$6.24, especially if you buy a steam card from EB so steam USD = AUD

    Please don't get the DLC pack :) There are only 2/3 story based DLC which is kinda worth it. Otherwise a fantastic game. I'm currently in a middle of a second play through ;)

    Bought it a while ago and totally enjoyed it. Just like those Hong Kong action flicks :) Hopefully square enix would pool resource for a sequel.

    I'm going to buy this, looks good. Some of the DLC looks a bit meh, does anyone have a view on what is the better DLC? I'm Currently looking at:
    + Base Game
    + Year of the Snake
    + Nightmare in North Point
    + Zodiac Tournament

    Total Cost: $10.96 and it looks like it gets you the best DLC vs paying an extra $9.02 for new clothes, money, vehicles and weapons.

      That's about the only story based DLC. None of the others are that useful - extra clothes and vehicles (like the SWAT team costume that takes 50% damage) might be useful at the start but certainly not needed. Lots of extra clothes and cars to buy inside the game anyway.

        Thanks, though I don't fancy paying to make the game easier, I prefer games to be a little harder than what is considered the norm.

          Thanks for making my choice easier. I didn't want to fork out so much for DLC's when i didn't know much about them, so your help in selecting the worthwhile ones was appreciated (I'm not big on cosmetics, so I'm happy).

      thats what i'd get… the extras u pay for on the costumes dont do much if you want the swat 50% armour bonus just set the game on an easier level ;)
      unless you do value the look of ur character? - the extended missions make the price of admission worth it!
      base game worth $10 easily

        Actually wearing the SWAT outfit just doesn't look right walking around the Hong Kong night market. The game itself is actually not that hard - most combat missions are too easy as your health regenerate. Eat some pork bun (yeah the one that makes you "a whole man") and some massage before the mission makes you almost invincible.

        Love the story line though. Typical Hong Kong cop movie or Infernal Affair-like undercover story.

      Don't forget the free DLC's of High Resolution Texture Pack and Ghost Pig because it doesn't automatically add to your game, you have to do it yourself.

    Okay, so the deal is over but I want to let anyone who reads this know, this game is great.

    I was really surprised how good it was, it has that open city feel like GTA with martial art combat similar to Batman Arkham series. The story is a little cliche if you've seen Hong Kong cop movie like these, but it is still a good story that makes you want to find out how it will end.
