  • Clayton Pickup: Free
    Fastway Couriers: $18.65

Damn - wish I lived closer.

    • Hi enslaver,

That sounds like a rural Victoria delivery fee, if you can let us know your post code we can double check it for you. With rural areas at times the data provided by fastway's API is less than perfect.

Sorry, that seems to be actually correctly issued as a Fastway Pink Label at $18.65

We have confirmed with management that we will be able to ship these via Australia Post. Our website is being updated to reflect the new shipping prices and will be done in the next 15 minutes.

Should be slightly cheaper to rural areas.

Wah :( Still $28+ to ship to Perth :(

  • Will the Cherry Red (Made in Germany) be returning…I missed out last time?

    • Hi Aim54x

We've been unable to track down any more of those at this stage. There is a slight possibility we might get some in October but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

Also looking to some different sku's of Cherry mechanical keyboards later this month but nothing has been confirmed at this stage apart from the two we currently list.

      • Thanks, I will keep an eye out…I am still tempted by another cheaper mechanical keyboard for work….

The Cherry Blue was a bit cheaper last time, but glad to see they are coming back.

I'm interested in a few boards if you're going to stock this one above in MX Brown or MX Blue.
I bought a Red board when you guys posted here last time. Good deal.

        • We only have confirmation of the models we have posted about - we will advise if other variants should become available. :>

Bought this with Cherry Blue keys for work last time, it's decent for the price. Afterwards I tried typing on a coworkers Ducky Shine 2 and I put an order in for a Ducky Shine 3. These keyboards don't feel as good as the top of the competition, but at a third of the cost they still feel much better than typing on a regular keyboard.

My poor G11 keyboard at home is going into retirement, I can't type on it without grimacing now, feels like there are marshmellows under the keys. This keyboard will happily take its spot.

  • Is the Blue or Brown one worth going for considering the usage is more for just typing documents etc? (not much for gaming)

    • It's more of a personal feel. The best way to go about things is to find a friend(s) with a mechanical keyboard(s) and try them out for yourself. People say things like "cherry blacks are bad for typing because it requires higher actuation force" but I find them incredibly comfortable to type with. I'm currently using a ducky shine 2 w/ cherry browns. Some people complain how they feel a bit mushy but I find them fine.

One common complaint with cherry blues is that they're quite noisy and they really are. I really enjoy the sounds they make because they feel really satisfying :) Sometimes your local EB will stock Razor black widow keyboards (cherry blues) which have the arrow key area cut out for you to try out the keys. You could try testing them out there if you're lucky.

  • Bought one last time, the keyboard is pretty light but it is excellent value, would definitely buy again. Which switch is better is very much a personal opinion, I would describe the blue as being more 'crisp' whereas the brown feels a bit more 'squidgy'. Like I said, personal opinion :p If you're OK with the noise, I find the blue is vastly better for typing

  • Tempted… so tempted…

    • Tempted also, I will probably sleep on it to stop myself from being irresponsible.

Rep could you link us to the mouse or give some details?
