You would have mised out unfortunately as with Moneyback you have to click on the link on the moneyback website for them to track that you actually joined up :(

        I suck at marketing.

OzBargain has been teaming with MoneyBackCo for the last 2 years of operation, with their square banner displaying on the right hand side of every OzBargain pages… And people are still asking "Who is MoneyBackCo?"

        :(

after years of browsing, you learn to ignore ads =)

  • Any one here heard of the Moneybackco.com mob? Are they legitimate or scam?

Who is giving the money? Bankwest or Moneybackco.com ?

check our their website, it's all legit. i have around $100 worth of money back maybe more.
Basically they pay the advertising commissions to you instead of keeping them.
they charge a $10 fee per year, which they only take out of the money you earn back.

  • Hold up, Steve, so how does this work? Let's say I go to the moneybackco site now, and sign up. And then I search for Bankwest from your site, and then click on the smart saver thing… and then what? How do you track the application once it hits the bankwest page? Or am I meant to fill out some form on moneybackco in the first place?

    • What you're doing is correct (in terms of getting the $45). As long as you get to Bankwest's website via MoneyBackCo (like you described), and cookie setting is on (normally is), then it will automatically record the transaction.

Once you completed the application, check back at MoneyBackCo in the next day or two, you'll see your transaction is recorded. However, it may take a couple of months for the money to go back to your bank account though.

  • is this deal still available, when i tried to click on the link it send me to a blank page which doesn't seem to load? or could it be my browser?

    • It's your browser.

  • Oh no. I just signed up for a Smart eSaver account and then I see this! :(

  • How do you get money back though when you don't actually have to pay for anything when you sign up?

  • Thank you Steve. I just about to join in and saw this deal. Hopefully I will get this $45.

  • i've signed up! my MoneyBackCo account says approx date of payment is June. hopefully it works. does anyone know if MoneyBackCo charges an annual fee?

in an unrelated matter, i once got $100 straight into the bank account for signing up with raboplus.

    • Yes. It's $10 a year. Easily covered by the savings you get from the account.

  • Awesome! Just signed up.

    Thanks!

Moneybackco is awesome! Ive gotten about 100$ since ive signed up in a year.

  • Interesting, We just asked the Commonwealth Bank if they charge money to link accounts to Bankwest and they said they owned them, and them upped our netbank saving account rate to 4.5% to try and keep us. But $45 is $45!

  • How often is interest counted? =\

    • daily

  • so, is it $45 or $35 after the $10 annual fee?

    • Well you're correct but… if Steve announces a deal that gives you a moneyback amount of $10, I'll see it as $10 money back and not $0.

    • good deal if getting $ back
  • Afaik the 5% p.a. is one of the highest if i'm not mistaken aswell !

  • buckscoop now also has this deal, I have been waiting for Buckscoop to get this deal since you won't have to pay $10 to MoneybackCo, Buckscoop give you back everything :)

  • As expected, the network has asked us to pause the Smart eSaver offer while the merchant reviews their budget allocation.

    Steve.

  • I was just about to apply for the eSaver!

Is the offer going to be reinstated?

    • Until we hear from the network we don't really know. The tone of the email implied the pause would be temporary, although I've thought that before and offers have never reappeared.

      Sorry, Steve.

  • anyone got their money yet?

    • Mine's been paid to Moneybackco, and should be transferred to my bank acct by their next payment cycle in July.
