Receive their newsletter which shows this "hot" price. I did a quick google, the price seems quite good. On their facebook page, they are giving this coupon code which deduct 5 bucks, bringing the total price down to approximately $59. Now it is a really tempting price.

I only owns a dual core, so cant comment this quad core.

  The dual core in the same package overheated - what do you think a quad core will do?

  Has a lot of issues, not just with heat, but with the ROM as well.

    I did. Product is ok. But a lot of problems.
    - sd card unmounts by itself
    - internal flash goes "blank" by itself
    - not very smooth (even it's quad core)
    I haven't tried custom ROMs yet. It says it improves the speed.

    Yes I received mine within 9 days. Lots of issues with video playback but now I found a true 1080p kernel with video frame skip fix and its working better than when I first got it. Still not perfect but getting there.

  Chromecast from Google for $35 USD will probably kill most of the white branded Chinese Android TV Stick (including this one).

    How would it? They are different products, the Chromecast does very little in comparison to a Google TV stick which you can think of as a mini PC, a Chromecast only streams content from another device.

      Well, many people these days have android devices, I.e. phone tablets so having a chromecast and pair with your android devices is exactly the same as having an android stick plus you don't need to buy an additional Bluetooth keyboard for the chromecast.

        That's like saying many people own a smartphone, so there's no need to buy a PC to use for work as the smartphone is capable of running office software.
        "Many people" does not equate to everybody, or even the majority. Have you noticed that there are still "many" people using IOS devices and some even using other devices such as Windows phones that may not own android devices?
        To follow your logic, "many" people would not need Chromecast as they own smart TV's capable of performing the same function.
        Chromecast has a specific use, where Android sticks have many more uses.

    when chromecast receiver functionality is added to google tv sticks (slightly different from android tv sticks but similar) THEN we will have a killer product,chromecast has already been successfully emulated on a PC so even if that gets ported to android sticks we will end up with the ultimate media player

      isn't chromecast just mostly advanced miracast and streaming…. the chinese bringing similar items out soon. How similar remains to be seen tho.
