Sony XBA2VP Black Balanced Armature Headphones $74.80 Delivered

30

Missed Sony XBA-4 yesterday, is this worth $75?

ozy2000 bought it from Havey Norman for $98 when it was on special a few months ago.

Thanks ironpaw for provide review link:

VP probably means it has in-line remote whereas XBA-2 has no in-line remote, which does not affect sound quality I presume.

Good question. How do you impress an ear?

I'm picturing a candle-lit dinner with glasses of red wine, as a man sits across a table from a giant, anthropomorphic ear with arms and legs.

      LOL~

Why are you even posting it if you aren't sure?

    • So someone has this earphone can share their thoughts?

Should have posted in the forums then!

        • But, its the cheapest price you can find ATM !

      • I have one of these and I love it.
Bought it from Havey Norman for $98 when it was on special a few months ago.

    • not the correct review and I've checked none exist for this specific model, the only issue in my mind is probably the static produced by this type of volume rocker(slider), which could produce different results compared to the XBA2 without the in-line mic…

      • +1

        Mine has no static noise.

          That's good to hear… :)

I see what you did there Elijah. ;)

  • Do these have iPhone controls (play/pause/volume)?

    • According to Sony Australia:

      Compatible with smartphones
Dual Balanced Armature Full Range + Woofer
Made in Japan Balanced Armature Driver
Powerful Bass with Clear Vocal Sound
      Double-Layered Housing
      Noise Isolation

      • Yeah i read that but i couldn't find anything more specific.

  • I have got an extra one if anyone is interested :P
Can sell it for around 60$ or so.

    • If it's new and works with iPhone per my comment above then maybe.

      • Its brand new and sealed pack, so have not tested.
But it says on box it works with iPhone and Android phone.

    • If any body has the xba3s that were on sale by Sony a while back that they don't want. Msg me. Sony couldn't supply mine and I had to get a refund.
      I'm in melbourne

  • it works on iphone and android.
It only has 1 button for answer/hang up calls.

The volume is controlled on the remote itself, not on the device.

    • Does that one button also play/pause?

  • Can't really base on reviews because it's very individual taste of music. I owned ATH-cks70. Loved it since……..I didn't like shure420…OK with shure530, but the cost is…………….

    In case you're still looking.

I have the XBA-3 and the Shure 535. I love the Shures. They are the most comfortable IEMs I've owned.

    • damn, it's sold out…
