  • Keen on this, but out of stock in local stores (Burwood, Rhodes, Eastwood).

You reckon JB will match the deal?

    • with the buy x get y free deals i doubt they would, id like to hear how you go if you do attempt to price match though

  • good deal for anyone interested in getting this type of camera which is a "Mirrorless Camera with Lens".
You should able to negotiate the price, match to the other competitors price $850? (since the tab is" bonus/free")
Nice work for the reviews and comparisons!

  • Been waiting for this. Thanks!

  • Out of stock!

I personally wouldnt get it. Decent cameras, I own an nx20 myself, but I think people are better off getter cameras with a wider lens range. Lenses are limited at the moment and a bit costly.

    • The Samsung NX series has the widest range and the best quality lenses of any mirrorless camera. They are also the cheapest if you know where to get them from.

      • +3

lol best quality and widest range.

Feel free to neg the comment but these lenses are hard to find in brick and mortar stores. Sure you can buy them from Korea but for pancake and zoom lenses they cost more than their counterparts. There are better options than samsung. They are flogging these cheaper than other mirrorless rivals for a reason.

Please share where you get these wide range of lenses too.

        • discountcameras.com.au dont have anything to do with them before I am accused of promoting them. They have helped me build a fine collection of NX lenses and I am grateful to them for that.

        • So its $712.01on that site you linked. Granted thats without the tab that could probably sell for $200-225.

Well it states its available in bing lee stores only now and tablets available whilestocks last. Best of luck getting it.

      • I find that micro 4/3 have the best range of lenses. And have choices for faster (aperture) lenses.

And you get to choose to either use them with Olympus or Panasonic.

Leica makes some lenses also, which is a bonus.

The NX lenses doesn't seem to have many fast lenses.

        • Samsung NX is aps c much larger sensor than micro for thirds, this translates to better low light performance and better bokeh without requiring as wide an aperture. In any case, I have a ;85/1.4 Samsung NX lens, is that fast enough for you?

        • +1

Not really, their sensor tech is not very good so the noise performance from your APS-C is pretty average to say the least. Not to mention Image Stabilising tech not as advanced as Micro Four Third's 5-Axis meaning you will need wider apertures to get higher shutter speeds for you to take non-blurry shots.

hard to recommend samsung nx other than those just looking for a cheap camera without additional lenses. if you want something compact then i would normally recommend micro four thirds as they have a wider range of bodies, good IQ, smaller size, good lenses and a proven track with a roadmap for the future.

    • 10/16/20/30 pancakes, 45/1.8 + 85/1.4, 60/2.8 Macro, 12-24 and a bunch of zooms. How is that limited? No more expensive than Fujifilm/Sony's prices (Fuji 27 pancake for $500+, Sony 24/2 for $1000+).

  • Slightly cheaper here $849 + $19 shipping http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/category1335_1.htm

  • anyone got one?
