      frozen hot chips?

Ever bought chips at the football?

    • If they were frozen while they were hot, will they be hot when defrosted?

  • Good work Undercut !

  • what is the discounted price?

  • the pdf isn't loading for me :( but im sure its my end.

    • The first time I clicked on the link it took some time to load too! Now it seems to be coming up straight away!

      • It loaded on my system slower than other pdf files but it worked well enough for me to print it out.

  • Thanks OP

New design for the same product. Can anyone explain why this has the health tick? Don't think potatos are good for you but seems any product with 99% fat free (90's conspiracy fat free fad diet) seems to be healthy. I don't think this is the case as we know potato lacks micronutrients.

I love crap food and am not preaching but just don't understand why it has the health tick approval. Seems like a scam from the big companies paying to receive the certification to trick the consumers.

    • The healthy choice chips have the heart tick too, and you cant get the tick if your product is full of shite. Maybe they are just healthy?

You have it in one - they have the heart tick because they've paid for it.

  • how much is it this week?

    • -2

Probably $10.49 per bag, so with this coupon you'll get about 40 cents off the price that Coles will be selling it for in 3 weeks from now.

  • $3.24 at coles online

I usually buy the Coles brand chips 2 x 1kg packets at a time for $4.50 which works out as $2.25 per kg. I'm hoping the 750gm bags of Birds Eye at half price will work out as better than the $2.25 per kilo unit price. I doubt I'll actually save much money but it will be nice to get a brand name chip for less than the price of a generic product.

    • Its always nice to buy named brands for less than generic stuff. :)

just bought a pack. On sale for $3.00 so $1.50 for a pack of chips.. not too shabby :)

  • The shoestring chips are actually pretty good - end up similar to macca's fries.

Has anyone tried to purchase multiple packs at once with multiple vouchers?

    • +1

I have never had a frozen oven-bake chip that tasted decent; they always end up either a soggy tasteless mash or burnt. For you to profess that these chips "end up similar to macca's fries" is a massive call.

      • Well, I must admit that we cook them in a Tefal Actifry - and they do end up nice and crispy.

We had another pack tonight topped off with Nando's Peri Peri salt - pretty tasty!

    • I bought 2 off one voucher

      • Used nandos peri peri salt too

  • Does anyone know if they will accept the voucher on my phone screen? Some places seem happy to and others won't, think it normally depends on if they need to keep the voucher or not, but when they are freely available on their facebook page I can't see why they would need to keep it. Not trying to be difficult, just my printer's broken!

    • I did it on self checkout with my phone. The scanner didnt scan my phone screen so I keyed in the barcode. Someone had to come over to verify and I showed them to voucher on my phone.

  • Bought 2.. Think the price was 2.99 each before discount

    • Did it discount both or just one?

      • both

  • $1.50 a bag BOOM

  • Picked up two packets today. $2.99 is the full retail price at Coles, they weren't on special. $1.50 or just under was a pretty good price for 750gms of frozen chips anyway. $2.99 is also the full price at Woolworths for this product.

The receipt looked very strange but I believe it was correct. I purchased the two bags of chips plus a lettuce. The cost of the lettuce was $1.20. The receipt total was $4.17 which means the unit price for each bag was slightly under $1.50.

  • I notice that the chips above go on special this Wednesday for $2, the day after the coupon expires.
