Did anyone here who got their bag placed their order after 11:55pm on 03/09?
I placed my order on 04/09 @ 7:45AM, got the confirmation email, and received my tax invoice this morning. I have to pickup the bag at my local newsagent today as I missed the Toll delivery yesterday.
Just got the bag :) haven't opened it yet.
Bag delivered and the pending payment disappeared. I don't know how it works but if they have made some mistake and don't charge again this would be the best bargain of the year !Just picked up the bag! While not exactly up there with Crumpler quality, it sure beats anything else in the sub-$100 range!
i ordered mine on 3/9 at 11:33pm and havent received mine. But just got the tax invoice sent through and no charge on the credit card yet (although citibank isnt instantaneous…)

Funnily enough, my order was on the 3rd Sept at 11:33pm too (and I also got two) but I haven't received any invoice or confirmation of delivery as yet.
I got the confirmation right after I ordered on the 4th at 12.30am, received the bag yesterday, and only just received the invoice this morning.
Confirmation of order I got right after ordering as well. Sent officemax an email earlier just to get an update so hopefully they'll have good news.
I put down my PO Box for delivery though and from what some have said, it's an actual street address they need. Couriers seriously need to sort out something with Auspost about dropping off at a PO Box… people get a PO Box for security and for someone else to take the package when we're not home! And you'd think buying through the Auspost online store and having it delivered to an Auspost PO Box wouldn't be an issue. Anyway, there's no pick up ticket in my PO Box as of last night. Will try again on Saturday morning.
It's just frustrating that for something in AU, it is taking so long to get a delivery… I've given my old backpack with laptop compartment to my bro so need the new one.

I just received mine. I ordered at 12.30am on the 4th of Sept. Awesome deal! Thanks to the OP and Auspost/OfficeMax for honouring the price if it was indeed a pricing error.
I still haven't received a tax invoice, and the charge hasn't appeared on my credit card yet.
The outgassing is pretty strong. Hopefully the smell will go away quick.

Just got a call from OfficeMax asking for street address as its being delivered by toll. Dont know why they didn't use their own network or even Startrack if they wanted discount freight network as Its the same company now and they deliver to parcel lockers.
anyway hoping to get it tomorrow.
edit: and for those worried about transaction disappearing from card. Its still not showing on my card too but its getting delivered.

I received an invoice email regarding this deal from OfficeMax this morning. Hope I could get my bag today or tomorrow. PS. I also emailed OfficeMax client care about the disappeared pending amount on my credit card yesterday. However, there is no reply yet.
I also had the pending amount disappear, received the invoice today aswell. A reply email from them said they are shipping directly from their supplier, and may take 3-4 business days. So probably next week should arrive.

Glad you're all getting your bags! I was getting worried, but just got a call from Officemax - I put down a PO BOX too (as some others did - thinking AusPost would deliver!). They called me up to get my physical address and will deliver mid next week. I'm in regional TAS, so am used to waiting for deliveries!!. Normally pay way more than $6.95 to receive courier packages though….. Someone is losing money here!!

I too got a phone call from OfficeMax this morning to get a physical address instead of my PO Box and I also got word that they bag is coming straight from the supplier. Fingers crossed it comes by the end of next week as estimated. I need the bag for work dammit!
$6.95 is indeed cheap for delivery compared to other P&H costs I've had to pay… and the fact I got two at the same flat rate delivery just makes it a better bargain!
I hope either they sold them at clearance prices or supplier might have got a cancelled order and wanted to get rid of them.
Its a win win situation for buyer and seller in that case as it gets advertised in bulk here :).
I asked Officemax twice and in both cases, they said it was not a pricing error.So the posters above who were told that it was an error were either misinformed or lying themselves.
Not sure mate. But I contacted officemax twice and their operator told me, it is not an error. Once the day, I put the order and one on 10th to correct my address.

I had to change my PO Box to my work address last week. The ETA is this upcoming Friday… that reminds me, I ought to let reception know which day/s it's likely to come.

Not yet. My CC account is debited now. Contacted them and they said Star Track could not deliver it and they now have passed my contact details. I have asked them for the consignment no. so that I can ask Star track myself.
I've had the tax invoice come through (haven't checked my credit card yet). I've put my mobile and office no. on the delivery instructions so they ought to be able to find me one way or another.
Looks like they're slowly getting around to all the orders. Patience and ye shall receive thee bargain.
