  • did you go through pickup or delivery?

      Where is pickup option?

    • Pickup, surely. It is Australia Post…

      • +1

        NO pickup.

    detailed description and video

    nice bag

  • +2

been looking for a new backpack for work to carry my mbp but it looks a bit bulky.

waiting for a cheap deal on an incase bag

    • +1

They also have the swift on there for$40

  • Delivery: $6.95

Looks like an awesome backpack! Shall get one!

  • I did delivery - didn't see a pick up option…
Delivery for me (in TAS) was $6.95 for both bags…

  • Awesome! My current backpack is failing terribly, and even at $32 including delivery this is still a great bargain.

  • Would this be waterproof?

    • If this was waterproof it would've no doubt been listed in the features. I've got a smaller version of this bag & its essentially the same as any other normal bag (not very)

  • +1

Lifetime warranty also looks good - have no experience of this in practice though… Anyone else??

  • would we be able to find this in-stores?

Looks like Good Guys, OfficeMax and Dick Smith might stock them….

OfficeMax might have them at this price… AusPost seems to be a front for OfficeMax for this deal… Email conformation came from them…

  • Not enough room for the shopping… where can I put the 3 litre bottle of milk and bag of carrots?

    • it's not designed for shopping….

    • +1

      it's designed for online-shopping…

buy this and a laptop, shop your 3 litre bottle of milk and bag of carrots online for delivery!

  • I have a different model everki backpack - the glide, really well made, comfy padded straps, would highly recommend it, and I paid about $90 for mine so this seems really cheap. Have absolutely no need for another backpack though lol

    • +2

      Need < Bargain. :P

And plus you never know when it might come in handy… at least that's what I'm telling myself lol

    • +1

      Where are they made?

  • We got a 17" Everki about 6 months ago now. They're fantastic backpacks, quite sturdy and well padded.
But I think they maybe changing models at present as our one seems to have now been changed/deleted from the range!
This seems like steal at $25!!!

  • +2

Looks awesome! Just bought two… I got myself a Targus one awhile back but this was just too good to pass up. I love pockets and compartments heh. Mum is visiting me here and saw me buying; she decided she wanted one too lol.

FYI as a comparison - the Everki website is retailing for $109, while Dick Smith and Good Guys both have it $89.98 and $79 respectively.

It's Batman's utility belt in backpack form!

  • Thank you, I got one, I might get another one for a friend :).

    • Is it good?

      • I mean I bought one just now, sorry for the confusion.

  • +2

Great find OP, this is what ozbargain was made for!

  • +1

    bought two thanks op

  • Has anyone had experience with this backpack going thru Australian airport checkpoints? Its open flat compartment is TSA approved.

    • They will ask you to remove the laptop from the backpack, regardless what kind of backpack it is.

      • They do allow you to keep the laptop in a sleeve now instead of getting you to take it out.

        • +1

In Australia a sleeve is normally fine (unless you get a security guard on a power trip). However, as an example, in Singapore I've been made to remove even the sleeve multiple (possibly every) times.

  • +3

OK, I wasn't looking for this but it looks damn useful for work so I bought two. It was just one of those "shut up and take my money" moments.

  • Postage is $6.95 to SA.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhqhTqULKyU

Kinda strange you can buy 100 of these bags and postage will still be $6.95

    • +13

Maybe the store runs their own delivery service to keep costs down.

  • Can pick up???

    • +1

Their website doesn't have any information about pick up so I think there's not pick up :(
      Only what I found:
      Q. What happens if I am not home to receive my order?
      A. No problem, if you are not at home when your order is delivered the courier will leave you with the pick up details for your local Australia Post retail outlet.

  • +1

Anyone got an AustPost promo code? LoL

  • +2

    No pick up option.

Good price but $6.95 postage to Sydney - abit expensive especially the delivery is by themselves.

    • Why do you say it's expensive? I guarantee if u take the bag to Aust Poet it will cost you more to send yourself

  • +2

" This product is not available in the requested quantity. 99900000 of the items will be backordered."

Thats lucky, not sure my credit card can take $2,499,999,975.00

    • +2

      Good try Broden!!! LoL

  • why people buying two? one for resell?

    • +1

I was thinking 2… Just coz I know a family member or friend will say "Damn, I would've got one had I known!"

      • +2

Also bought two, one for gym and one for work. Not a clue how this will work but..

I'm quite surprised this hasn't been sold out yet considering there are more then 2200+ clicks. How many do they actually have in stock I wonder.

The strange thing is you can add unlimited number into cart. Either they don't have a online stock monitor or something has gone terribly wrong.

  • I didn't need it but bought one still just because I'll be travelling and the thought of not having to remove the laptop sounded too cool. Now if they still make me remove the laptop I'd be pissed.

  • Does anyone know if the warranty covers zips breaking?

    • That's almost certainly covered mate.

  • Thanks OP. I've never heard of Everki, but for $32 I thought I'd take a punt on something to replace my 10 year old Targus backpack. Hope this serves me as well as the Targus has.

    • +2

Very good brand. Used to be hard to get in Australia. Just realised we've probably had one for over a year now. Mrs uses it daily as a Teacher/Consultant and no problem so far!

  • Great price.

  • Great bag and price. but I cannot find Auspost neither on their Resellers nor Online Resellers list.

  • +2

Can't believe AusPost doesn't accept AMEX or PayPal……

  • Thanks OP, not sure if i BAG a bargain or gained more LUGGAGE :)

  • Just found another link for this deal (actually the same):
    http://mydesk.officemax.com.au/everki-flight-checkpoint-frie…

Country locations – Order received by 3pm for delivery between 1 and 3 working days (covers 99% of rural Australia).

Purchased. Didn't really need a notebook bag, but the videos posted above did it for me. Love the design and all the little pockets/compartments. Along with the price, it was too good to pass up. I'm sure I'll find a use for it. Thanks OP :)

  • +2

didn't need it. but ordered one anyway. thanks op.

    • Hi I need one but missed the deal. If you decide not need it, let me know I will throw in another $10. Melb CBD

    • +1

Starting to think Aust Post won't be able to fill all the orders they are receiving.

    • Just received my order, and I have to say these bag are really good quality, kids are happy :).

      • +1

I'll see if I get anything tomorrow.

  • Anyone know if you can use this as a laptop bag (with cabin baggage too) on an air asia flight?

  • Is this acceptable for carry on baggage ?

    EDIT: in airplane

  • +7

Don't have a laptop and i've bought one..

    • +1

Glad to hear i'm not the only one… seemed too good an offer to pass up

    • +2
