I always assumed 'standard delivery' did not refer to Australia. I may be wrong.
Nope, looks like I was mistaken. Thanks OP!

  • Can anyone advise on the quality of this brand? Comparable to TM Lewin?

I've bought a few CT shirts in the past and was really happy. Went to TM Lewin to compare, wasn't as happy. They're good, but not as good as CT. I find CT stays much less wrinkly and the fabric is much softer. CT usually does this 4 for $200 deal so at $40 a shirt I'm very happy. Just purchased 5.

Of that 5 is 2 slim fit shirts. The sizing chart on the website says the chest measurements should be the same as classic fit shirts, but with all slim fit shirts i've bought in the past this is never the case. i bought a size up just in case, so we'll see.

      • Thanks for the info Billy_is. Is it safe to assume that the CT slim fit would be a similar cut to Van Heusen or Pierre Cardin euro fit?

        • +1

Not sure mate, haven't bought a slim fit from CT before today. I'll be able to let you know in 12 business days ;)

http://www.ctshirts.com.au/Formal-shirts-sizing-guide?cnt=si… that's the sizing guide. Depends on the cut, but I always buy extra slim and they have never been as tight fitting as some of the labels you buy from Myer and such.

hey mate, shirts arrived yesterday. see my comment below re sizing. i'd also say that the slim fit shirts are not as slim as the VH or PC euro fits. try an extra slim fit if you want this cut i reckon.

good shirts though… tempted to buy more… dammit.

Thanks Billy_is, appreciate the info. I will go for the extra slim.

I'll measure myself up when I get home and buy one to try.
If everything works out I'll keep an eye out for future deals and buy 10+ easy.

    • Alright I ordered one; let's see how badly I am at measuring myself..!

  • If anyone could comment on the sizing/fitting for womens please do so. I tried a TM Lewin shirt once and it felt it was more towards Barbie proportions which is not me >.<

  • I bought some extra slim fit about a month ago, they fit just nice and you still have a bit of room. I reckon the extra slim fits were more like slim fits to be honest. the only drawback for me was the arms felt like 'normal' size (a bit 'baggy') considering they were extra slim fit. material wise - they were perfect.

Agree, the extra slim are not too slim. Have tried TM Lewis and Hawes and Curtis and reckon the CTs are the best, followed by the H and C, fit wise for me.

      • have you tried the Hawes and Curtis non-iron shirts? any good?

  • +1

can anyone comment on how the extra slim fits compare to Van Heusens slim flit?

  • where do you enter discount code?

Click on Go to deal and the discount should already be applied.

I bought two Extra Slim Fit a few weeks back and very happy with them. I vouch for them over T.M. Lewin shirts which I own 4 of.

I was impressed that each shirt came with brass collar stays. So much better than the plastic rubbish you usually get even from the more expensive shirts.

  • My 5 shirts arrived yesterday. 5 business days after ordering - happy.

Good quality as usual, but I'm glad I trusted my instinct and got the size up for the slim fit shirts. I usually wear 41cms classic fit and ordered the 42cms slim fit and it's a perfect fit. The slim fits are more appropriate for weekend wear as they're shorter in length.

    • You got lucky, mines been 15 days with an ETA of 20 days. Did you order express shipping or something?
