    not really, they are nicad batterys so will go flat on there own without use and they have charge memory so you have to fully charge then fully discharge them every time or it screws the batterys. if you only want it for once in a while its always going to be flat and will always need to be charged for how ever many hours that takes before you can use it.

      Meh - $24 hardly gets you a decent screwdriver set so it still seems like fair value considering you get a few driving and drill bits.

      Seems perfect if you would only use it rarely and like stated don't mind throwing it on charge well before use.

      Or perfect for the person who has a single job they will belt the $rap out of it, then if it fails take it back for a refund. If it doesn't fail, post and we all might grab one :)

    That is like asking whether whether it's worth to buy some apples, just in case you need to eat something.

    You either need a drill, or you don't need a drill. If you've never owned one, then I cannot imagine that you are the type of person that is suddenly going to start a random drilling frenzy.
