Found this on the Western Digital website after looking for a High performance external drive and came across this little ripper!

My Book Thunderbolt Duo 4tb is on Sale at WDStore for $399 which is Australian Stock and you get free shipping over $150!!

Office works have them currently for $719 and Amazon have them for $427.99 USD + Shipping and eBay have them around the $520 mark + Shipping

The sale ends Sunday (I presume midnight)

There are also some other deals like My Passport Edge 500gb for $69 - My Passport Drives 2tb for $168 - My Passport Ultra Drive 1 tb for $108

Just a note to remember when buying the Thunderbolt drive you need to purchase a separate thunderbolt cable as these drives do not come with them as the same with most Thunderbolt drives on the market. You can pick up a 1/2 meter cable from apple for $35.

    Does this include 2 x 4TB HDD? So using JBOD it would be 8TB capacity?

      No its only 2x 2TB drives but you can swap them out later on with larger drives if needed :)

    Wish this had a USB 3.0 interface as well as Thunderbolt so I could more easily share it between my Mac and PC. Very tempted though.
