Pretty good headphones with decent reviews.

I went through the checkout and delivered it came to $272.17 AUD, so give or take a few dollars depending on how you pay.

Expect to pay $400+ buying locally. I would get them but bought the Logitech UE 900 from the Dick Smith sale.

Oh nice, ill buy a monster HDMI cable to go with it http://www.harveynorman.com.au/monster-video-isf-2000hd-hype…

    …or not

  • Unlike most monster products these do stack up pretty well; price wise. Personally i find nothing wrong with paying this sort of money on headphones/earphones… if you're going to use something for 100s or 1000s of hours its not really that expensive.

Anon how much did you pay for the UE900 from the sale?. I was about to buy a pair.
I couldn't find any comparison between UE900 and these monsters IEM's - Does anyone know how they compare - are they at least similar? I have heard the UE900 and they sound absolutely fantastic.

    • Hey, they were $299.99 AUD so a pretty decent deal. I actually tried to look up comparisons before as well but couldn't find anything.

That's a crap load of money for headphones. I would be concerned about theft and damage. Bloody things cost more than my smart phone!

  • this is still USD$275 too expensive.

  • Anyone who has seriously investigated the "quality advantage" of Monster products will conclude that they are probably reasonably built, but absolutely outrageously expensive. It's hard to imagine that these earphones are any different.

Even if they the quality begins to justify the price, I wouldn't buy them on principle. Look at the ridiculous claims they make on how superior they are on delivering a DIGITAL signal over HDMI across 1 metre. It's pure BS and they aren't to be trusted.

just like catch of the day have a good deal once every 15 years, Monster can make some reasonably priced products once every 15 years. These do rate very well and are certainly on par quality wise and within the price range of other higher end earphones.
