    Dunno if it was just me but I got excited about one of these sales previously as I needed to do a full filter, oil & fluid change on my car and was just going to go to SuperCheap and/or Autobarn as I normally did but decided to try Repco instead. I couldn't believe how expensive it was going to be even after the 30% off so I went back to the other places and got everything I needed for less than I could from Repco and all at RRP!

    I was quite surprised but assume these sales must be good for something, right?! Either way I suggest you take a look at what they have on offer, scribble down some prices then shop around before blindly purchasing from Repco.

      Im not sure about engine oil as I usually only buy it on special. However the cleaning products are generally the same as other places so 30% off is decent. Also I went in to Repco the other day and purchased Front and back brake pads and a bottle of brake cleaner for $46. That IMO is a bargain.

        I grabbed oil and oil filter for some $19 couple of weeks back.

        But yes, some of the stuff are really expensive. An unbranded torque wrench was $75 bucks with the discount, but it didn't have the lower range so had to return it. Walked over to Bunnings, bought a Sidchrome torque wrench for $80 with way better range. And that was their shelf price.

    I lent my NRMA card to a friend who was not a member so he could buy some parts he needed for his V8 Commodore "cheap".

    He came back and said the discount did not apply to anything he wanted to buy.

    I wonder when Supercheap have their discount day? I need some Nufinish wax.

    Someone once told me REPCO was an abbreviation for Rip Every Poor something Off. Can't seem to remember what the C stood for.

    Can anyone recommend a full range of car cleaning and detailing products from repo? Wash, wax, interior, windows etc

      Meguiars Gold Class wash, Lambswool mitt, ultimate polish/ or an equivalent light abrasive polish (not "deep crystal polish" as it is just oils and will wash off within a wash or rain), gold class wax to wax it. It is not the best stuff list but it's good for beginners and fail safe. Watch youtube videos in how to apply wax.
