    Step 3 (the Facebook/Google+/twitter step) isn't required. Just sign up with an email and password on their site, then launch the free version of the app and sign in.

    Or download the free app and log in with the details used during the android sign up. That works too :)

    I cant get it to work, I followed all directions and got an email saying I have unlocked the Pro version. Signing into the free version of the app still says I have a free account…?

        I understand it still involves the free app.

        I tried pro features and it asked me to upgrade so has not quite worked for me for some reason.

        I received the email starting: Dear CamScanner User, You’ve successfully unlocked CamScanner Pro Features for a lifetime! Please keep your account logged in to enjoy it. […]

        But I logged in and still have the free account. When it works does it still list FREE account in the settings? What have I missed?

    I want to be able to export the OCR text, does this procedure allow the export of the text?

    When I try I get this message: Upgrade to Premium account to unlock this feature
