  • please edit the title to sydney only if you dont offer delivery.

  • does this deal also include the 32gb card advertised on your site?

  • +1

Don't understand how this is a bargain. It's sold at similar prices almost everywhere. I think this deal is merely to promote the existence of the device, not the price.

    • Thank you for your comment.

Would you mind giving us the link for other store selling less than $259(RRP) in Australia ?
We will be more than happy to remove this deal.

Hi. Op. they were posted yesterday and they are selling for $229 delivered. Can you beat them or remove this deal.

      • +1

Most ebay sellers do it for around $220 - $230 when you make an offer, and also comes with 16gb or 32gb memory depending on seller.

      • Mobilecity previously did the TVPad 2 for $209 delivered, so pretty much paying $30 for the gamepad thingy.

  • Not a bargain at this price for pick-up only
Needs to add back the Memory Card, and offer delivery, and/or drop the price.

    Edit.
Dam OP replied while I was trying to edit.

Anyway, OP has now added free delivery. So I will retract my neg vote.

I still don't think this is a bargain at $239.

It needs to be either $220 or to replace the 4GB with a 32GB to be a bargain.

  • Would love to know what this is - some kind of non-subscription streaming service?

      • WASU, the largest company under SARFT as well as the largest interactive platform for Chinese video contents, has a market value of more than trillion RMB. With it's powerful join, TVpad2 will become the most powerful content provider after PPS and BETV.

No idea what this means - a little introduction, perhaps?

        • There will be no subscription fee on TVPAD2. You can watch LIVE TV from China/Taiwan/Korea/Japan/Vietnam and many Video on Demands as well. As well as TVB Hongkong.

        • You can watch LIVE TV from China/Taiwan/Korea/Japan/Vietnam

Is the content from original broadcasters or from some (short-lived) re-streaming service? Seems suspicious.

        • It is streaming from different apps providers and funded by TVPAD Hongkong.

        • As per FAQ
Q: Does TVpad fit the specifications of law?
A: TVpad series aim to make an open application platform (OAP) in which third-party application developers are free to upload wonderful Apps, also TVpad does not involve any business of contents, as you can optionally install any apps you want into Apple’s device but their contents are from other developers.

I think this is Chinese for "not condoned - we just make platform."
PS. Apple prevents those Apps breaking DRM or copyright into AppStore.

        • AlexF, you better off buying Apple?

I do not understand why "Apple" is 'suddenly' mentioned?

    Why?

Are they implying that their TVPad is an Apple device, or a copy of one?
