381

Spotted this Disney Pixar Complete Collection Blu Ray available for pre-order on Amazon. The set contains all 17 Disney Pixar titles over 22 discs.

At the current exchange rate it is approximately $140 delivered. Although this sounds expensive it actually works out to be about $8 per title, including the yet to be released Monsters University. This price point is pretty much unheard of for Disney Pixar titles which usually range from between $20 and $40 each, depending on the title.

It is to be released 11 November so there will be plenty of time for it be delivered in time for Christmas.

Titles are:
Monsters University
Monsters Inc
Finding Nemo
Brave
Cars
Cars 2
Toy Story
Toy Story 2
Toy Story 3
Up
Wall-E
Ratatouille
The Incredibles
A Bugs Life
Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales

      Good point. Delete this deal.

It does not work out to me since I already have some of the titles.

      Thanks for letting us know.

    • bought when 50% off at target? :)

      • Haha, I bought Wreck It Ralph 3D at that sale, got it home and the 3D disc was completely missing.

got it home and the 3D disc was completely missing

50% off the price for 50% of the content ;)

  • Somewhat tempting!

  • -7

    NO Deal!

  • +1

    why no 3D?

    • Because the 3d market is small, like the only 3D collection I've seen is of the 4 shrek movies.

      • All the Toy Story's come in 3D, as does Brave, Up, Cars 2, Monsters Inc, and Finding Nemo. It'd be a small collection in 3D but enough to be one.

      • +1

But for a complete Pixar collection they should include all the 3D editions of the movies, 9 have 3D, 5 don't.

  • +6

May any Pixar collection never, ever be complete.

    • Since "Planes" is about to come out, with other titles already in production, your wish is granted. :)

      • +3

        Planes isn't a Pixar movie.

        • +5

It sure looks like one. It's seems like Cars, characters just added wings, renamed and rebranded.

        • It's made by the studio that does all their other bad spinoffs like lion king 2 and the little mermaid sequel.

        • Valid point actually Venom_TAG. It's not technically a Pixar production. But hey, other titles are already in production, so I guess I got it half right. lol.

        • DisneyToon Studios

    • Delivery cost?

    • By on Amazon, as you do not get the VAT charge!!!!

      • Shipping will be more than the VAT (usually is) and zavvi will only charge 0.99p for shipping.

When I plug it into both sites I get following results:
        Amazon-VAT+Shipping 98.02Pounds ($168.26AUD)
        Zavvi: With Vat+Shipping $91.98Pounds ($157.87AUD)

        • +1

Don't quite understand your Amazon calculation? The VAT reduces the Amazon price by a further 20%.

          The price on Amazon delivered is £76.04 + £3.58 = £79.62 delivered
          The price on Zavvi is £89.99 + £0.99 = £90.99 delivered

It's much cheaper on Amazon. And dare I say, the service is infinitely better on Amazon, especially if anything should be wrong with your order.

        • I get 90.98 pounds (89.99+0.99) - not sure why it does not take the vat out at Zaavi!

  • Good price. The only thing that comes close is http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/dvd/dvd-genres/kids-family/di… and it doesn't have as many movies as this one.

  • It's shame iv already have most if these turtles, wish you could select the tittles u wanted instead.
    These are Disney made films.

    • It's shame iv already have most if these turtles

so you've seen 'Finding Nemo'? ;)

    • +1

      Turtles & tittles?

      Sundays sure are slow…

  • No Wreck-It Ralph?

    • +5

nope…and strangely enough it doesn't include any other non-pixar movies either

    • +1

Wreck it Ralph is not a Pixar film. This is a Pixar boxset. Simple really.

      • -1

        Why isn't there a 'comparethemovies.com.au'? Simplez.

I wonder when the collective torrent for these will be out?

    • -2

    • Torrents will never have tge same quality as bluray, unless u gonna upload 20gb of data good luck!

  • It's now $136 AUD delivered according to the current exchange rate in my cart checkout so about $4 less now.

    • the current exchange rate does not matter.

you will only be charged on the day when the item is dispatched.

  • I've compared prices for UK online stores. I've tried promo codes for all but amazon and only the one for zavvi really works for the preorder. Zavvi definitelly has the best deal (worldwide it seems).

    zavvi.com: £85.49 with code ZV16127166 entered when opening a new account (S&H - AUS: £0.99, UK: free)
    thehut.com: £89.99 (S&H - AUS: £0.99, UK: free)
    amazon.co.uk: £91.25 (S&H - AUS: £3.58, UK: free)
