Man was I disappointed when this wasn't a free 3 pack of film.

So people know what this software and is about..

"Rediscover the magic of analog film

Give your digital photos all the quality and emotion of Fine Art photography with DxO FilmPack, the creative image processing software. Perfectly reproduce the quality, style, colors, and grain of the most famous analog films. Bring out the best in your photographs by applying original effects both in color and in black & white."

    Crap useless software.

    • +2

What exactly makes it crap and useless? Do you find this version too limited compared to Film Pack 4 or the Expert Edition or other products by VSCO or NIK? Or are you against the idea of film emulation in general?

    • +2

Haven't used this before, but I have used NIK Silver Efex, and it's far from crap. Allows you to achieve a look which is difficult to achieve in lightroom alone.

Maybe you're confusing this with Instagram filters or something similar?

Unlock most other free software deals that have been on OzBargain, this one is seriously legit.

  • Gmail flagged the email with the serial as spam; I submitted my email again thinking something went wrong, and they sent me two serials to the same email address. Just a heads up to anyone who didn't get the email, or might want more than one serial. :)

  • Any samples of what it actually does? and is this stand alone software or plugins for Lightroom/Photoshop?
