  • If anyone lives close to bankstown and is in the townhall area, can you please grab me one

This sucks… and not in a good way! Has all the performance of trying to vacuum your floor by sucking through a drinking straw…

Still, for $5 it should be enough to vacuum food scraps up, don't expect to be able to do carpets with it!

I don't mean to be rude, but who tries to vacuum a carpet with a handheld vac?

      • +1

Some of the newer ones are pretty good for tight-arse space restricted people, still have nothing on a Dyson though…

That… or it could be a chronically retarded uni student!

        • I use an electrolux ergorapido for my quick carpet clean ups. It does the job fine and much quicker than having to pull out my main vacuum cleaner from the wardrobe. In fact I hardly use my main vacuum cleaner anymore.

      • I have a cordless Dyson DC35 with 22.2V battery and it does carpet perfectly. Pass once over the floor and the powered floor rollers picks up everything plus more.

Plus more? I hope its not the carpet.

        • The carpet remained intact. The 'plus more' was in reference to dust that was not visible, however ended up in the collection chamber.

      • men…

    • performance of trying to vacuum your floor by sucking through a drinking straw…
      Awesome visual

  • Good for the car, but useless for a home!! Maybe good for picking up animal pellets.

    • +3

I would say it would be more useless for the car as it needs strength to pick up small stones etc etc

  • prays if they're still there tomorrow. Just got off the train at strathfield

    • +2

Your not losing much if they aren't

    • There's like 100 left 2 mins ago. A lot of people picking up 1 or 2 each. Bagged myself 2

      • i was just there, lots and lots left.

  • might grab one for the car, or here's another kriskringle…

  • Just got one. 7.2v so pretty poor, keeping the receipt for refund unless it surprises me

  • Is this the original rrp price or sale price?! I'd be keen to know original price if there is one?! Thanks

  • +13

    CRAP… CRAP… CRAP…
Bought 2, tried 1… And it was horrible.. forget about the animal pellets… It hardly sucks anything…
Went back exchanged… Got refund… Bought the whole chicken of that money, my stomach is full and finally m fully satisfied…

    Pls DO NOT BUY…

    • Were you really expecting anything else for $5 lol ;)

  • Its 100% Qualitaaahhh

Though I live in Perth, I figure something like this would be perfect for sucking up nasty insects / spiders / flies :) (then capping the end so they don't crawl back out!)

    • +1

I do that then spray big spray in it.

    • You can do this with any vacuum: get a tissue or some toilet toilet paper, spray some bug spray on it and vacuum it up. Kills spiders etc when they crawl around after you vacuum them.

  • I bet it could suck a golf ball through a garden hose!

  • Wonder what the return rate on these are

    • Bin rate is probably more relevant :P
