Kogan Has 32GB Samsung Galaxy S4's for around $645, Del Included + 1 year Aussie Warranty

100

Kogan has the Samsung Galaxy S4 with 32Gb internal storage for $619 (around $645 with postage) both black and white.

White S4 link - http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/samsung-galaxy-s4-4g-lte-i9505-3…

I know that 16Gb is just not big enough even with a 64gb sd card and I can really use that extra space on the internal memory…

MOD - 'Koganned/Kogan'd' is not an appropriate use of a negative vote. See Voting Guidelines.

As with most/all products sold by Kogan the warranty is provided by Kogan not the manufacturer.

Looks alright but I've promised myself to never buy anything from Kogan again due to their lack of steadiness.

    • Never had any problem with buying hardware, just getting the services part… :^p
I've purchased a few things off Kogan and it has ALWAYS come through, generally in about 10days time.
Can't fault them on delivering hardware.

OP Has balls posting this deal.

    • It's the OPs first post, maybe he's new?

    • +8

he's an ultra mage, he knows what he's doing.

    • +5

Haha it's either the OP is completely oblivious to what has happened in the past week or he's just trolling for the lulz…

Either way, don't get Kogan'd guys!!

    • Balls of steel has he.

      • No, balls of jelly :P

By "Aussie warranty", do you mean that there's a bloke called Austin in the warranty department who vouches for his level of service in case it's needed?

    • Hahahahahahaah!!!

  • I just saw Kogan's "rent this item" option - an it appears you can pay this off over 24 months, then hand it back, or pay one extra month's payment, and keep it for 6 years then return it. What would it be worth at the end of 6 years?

    • +1

Approx. $3.50. I assume there's a hefty penalty if you misplace it and can't return it (or not in working order) after 6 years?

      • +1

I just checked their figures, and for a $420 purchase, they will charge the "low low price" of only $10.70 per week, for 104 weeks, which using my calculating skills adds up to a total expenditure of $1100 for what amounts to a $420 item, and one option after this is to then just give the two year old phone back (they also say you can continue to rent it!!)

    • How many people realistically keep smart phones for 6 years anyway? Mines close to two years now (galaxy nexus) and its starting to show its age…

    nomore kogan pls…

    • Yes GTH Kogan!

      • GTH Kogan!

That's putting it quite nicely actually

    Price Error.

    • -1

I don't believe so, the price has been there now for 2 days…

And no, I didn't know about the $430 S4's until I looked into some of the other S4 deals…
Before someone asks, I'm NOT a Kogan rep and have no loyalty to any company.
Just found the ONLY 32Gb model I could find in Oz and thought I'd share…

    • Price Error

The only error here is the fact that Kogan is selling it.

I think we should have an autoscan function in OzBargain where if the word Kogan is detected in a new post, the deal is not published and the user is automatically sin-binned for 48 hours and is forced to read the following Link :P

    Hopefully not pricing error!

cheaper at other stores anyway, $629 at Techrific

    http://www.techrific.com.au/product_info.php?products_id=528…

    • Sorry, but you forgot to add their $77.95 shipping costs which makes this deal still cheaper.

      • Yep, thats right. And last time I checked some of these other sellers it was still pre-order. They've been pre-order since the S4 came out.

      • I see, my mistake. I hoped it was a legitimate reason to downvote this offer, guess I didn't research properly. Thanks.

  • +2

Hi ultramag69, nothing against you mate, but we are all still recovering from the S4 debacle. To add insult to injury, the fools at Kogan sent us an extended warranty offer, after cancelling the S4 order.

Do us and yourself a favour and do not post any offers from Kogan again. Thanks.

        • +1

          is kogan giving me $2?
are you going to give me $2? if not then stfu
its not about the $2. the point is i lost money by no fault of mine

        • yes i used paypal. it cost money to transfer money back into bank account

I used Paypal too, but it didn't cost me any money to transfer back to my credit card account. What $2 were you talking about? Show us some prove!

        • its not about the $2. the point is i lost money by no fault of mine

Didn't they gave you a $20 coupon to spend on their store?

  • Looks like NOT pricing error this time lol

    NO KOGAN Please …:|

  • Guys, who hasn't made errors, big or small? From the prospective of the guy at Kogan who made the erroneous entry of the S4 price, he must be very anxious all the time. Every time we make a derogatory comment against Kogan in this regards that guy must feel really bad about himself. We don't want the UK nurse's tragedy to repeat, do we? Bargain is good but just for fun, right ?

  • Wait for their free shipping offer and then might order one from them.

  • Has Kogan's reputation been completely shot here because of one pricing error?

I think it's a good deal. I'm only holding off because I prefer the Exynos quad core version.

    • That might cost for an extra $200.

      • the 16GB versions are comparable in price. Sometimes the octo is cheaper, sometimes more expensive.

I'm in no desperate need of a phone upgrade (mine's only a year old) so I can wait for a bargain.

    • One?.. From my understanding they have had a price error on the s4 quite often. It's got to the point people think they are doing it on purpose to generate traffic to their website and to invest the money they generate temporary to earn free interest. Their reputation got screwed also by all the back flipping, like by coming out and stating it wasn't a pricing error then re changing their minds a little after.

    • It's not so much the pricing error that is the problem, it's more of how they handled the situation and their (lack of) customer service.

Kogan say one thing and do another, make a promise to everyone that they'll have their money within x days, but they never do it. It took people many emails back and forth to both Kogan and PayPal to get their money back and in the end it's their time and money wasted.

No one likes people that are all talk and take others for a ride, and Kogan happens to fit this description quite well.

      • Which grey importer for phones do you trust/like the most? Because SS, DWI and UM also get a lot of flak around here. Who's still reputable these days?

        • Kogan is a lot more trust worthy than SS, DWL, UM and few other sellers.

  • Well I ordered when it says In Stock and then my order got cancelled and they blame it on the suppliers that they didn't have stock a week later.
