  • dude…. that is their normal price

    become familiar with http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=VX2260S&spo…

Going by staticICE, other than GreenBoxIT this is one of the best prices around if you have a MSY nearby (MegaBuy doesn't do pick-ups for this and charges $30 for delivery).

EDIT: Also, this is showing up as $118 for me on MSY's website. Which is the cheapest by far.

thanks for that, but an IPS over (just over) 20" with just over 100$ is still decent to share, right?

      • which is why I said $138 is their normal price ;)

        $118 is the bargain price

wow, sounds like 'offensive' or 'dumby' to people who are doing this for simply sharing, does MSY do something make you hate it that much? It's fine if you believe so, but others still have the right to know there is a choice for such a product they might look for, like it is perfect for my cousin to use for his 3 year-old desktop, a good price for a student. In general, it is the deal that suits people, not who to decide which one is good for others. Cheers

    • That's because the more you share the more e-cred you have. Doesnt matter what it is.. its all about the post count brah

    • MSY have been spamming a lot lately…

      Here's a Kleenex mate…

like it is perfect for my cousin

My dad wanted a 22" full hd, this will be perfect ! Thanks OP !

Shows $118 (not $138) for me?

  • +2

Hi guys, you can come to store and purchase it right now with special price. You don't need to wait until tomorrow.

    Thank you

    • Is it $118 or $138? $138 isn't really a special price (you sold it for $135 earlier this month according to Google cache). :)

      • +2

        It is $118

    • Can you come to me?

      • +7

Would you mind paying the postage ? :)

        • +5

Whoa whoa whoa, this is ozbargain, don't throw words around like "pay" ;)

        • Only if its free….

        • I can offer you a cup of Lipton pyramid tea (I think the jungle fruit flavor one is still remaining from the free sample I got)…

MSY website shows $118 for Wednesday and Thursday, but the Rep confirms it is also that price today. Sharing knowledge of a bargain learnt about through email does not make you a muppet. Such sharing should be encouraged.

  • I was at MSY near Brooklyn yesterday. Didn't have much time so just made it in and out. Now I am kicking myself cause I'll have to drive for half an hour to get there again.

  • I wonder how these stack up to the old vx2025's and the like back in the day? I have the old 20.5" which has lasted me 7 years…pretty damn good really for the price I paid, which was just s little higher than this. It's just starting to show some vertical banding so i'm definitely interested. Anyone purchased care to review? I have read the onlines already.

Also, what is warranty on these? I'm assuming 1 year.

MSY can you do a similarly cheap deal for a 24" IPS?

I really can't see myself going smaller than my current 24" but am really sick of the poor viewing angles.

    • My friend just bought an 24' LG IPS with them not long ago for around 200. Not really a bargain for that model, but I think for IPS its a deal.

  • Looks like a really good price, worth recommending , shame its lacking HDMI PORT.

  • Can someone provide a real brief easy explanation to what IPS is and why I might need it? thanks!

    • Google can. Ask him.

      • There's a reason I said a "brief easy" explanation, google seems to give long drawn out full of specs explanations..

        • better colors and viewing angles, otherwise ask google.

    • As francis mentioned, richer colours and better viewing angles, plus a supposed increase in response time. In essence, just an evolution in the LCD tech. As to why you need it, if you need new panel, well, why not hey?

  • Well, to answer my own question, it's a 3 year limited warranty…straight from the VS website. But this only on the US site. I've checked the Aus site and the model is not listed in their product range.

MSY rep, can you confirm 3 year Aus warranty?
